I purchased this instrument. I am very excited to play it. I have been searching for a silver Buescher Tenor for several years . I actually prefer the Buescher sound for Jazz compared to my S80 series I Selmer Tenor,I find my Selmer works beautifully for classical performing but some how just lack a certain flexibility that is essential for jazz. As soon as I’m accustom to the nuances of this new instrument I will definitely be taking it for my next performance and or recording session 🎷

I picked up a silver buecher true tone circa 1920s a couple of years ago and I love it.. I've never really played a modern horn but I got to tell you this horn sounds phenomenal... I'm learning a lot of Bebop and early r&b music on it.. I'm diggin' it

I have a 1925 True Tone and mine is gold plated. I wondered about the salt shaker octave pip.

The good sound certainly modern mpc with a good reed combination will add colour to the tone. I prefer the Conn chu berry models as they are my favourite vintage-sounding instrument. Digging for one good one...
