  • How to solve Peg Solitaire sometimes known as Brainvita, Marble Solitaire, French solitaire, Chinese Checkers or European peg solitaire Peg Solitaire is a classic game that has been around for centuries. It is a single-player game played on a board with pegs and a single empty space. The goal of the game is to jump pegs over each other, eliminating as many as possible until only one peg remains.
To begin, set up the board with all the pegs in their starting positions. Place one peg in the single empty space in the center of the board.
Next, move the peg around the board by jumping over other pegs. You can only move the peg one space at a time and it must be in the same row or column as the peg it is jumping over. When a peg is jumped over, it is removed from the board.
Continue jumping pegs until only one peg is left. You can only jump one peg at a time and can only move forward, not backwards.
If you reach a point where you cannot make any more jumps, you must start over.
It can take some time to master the strategy of the game, but once you do, you will be able to consistently win the game. Good luck!
In this video I am going to show you an easily remembered solution to solve peg solitaire.

Thank you so much. My little grandson loves this game and he thinks I can do anything because I keep trying till I can. I really didn’t want to disappoint him so I said I hadn’t been able to do it by myself but I didn’t give up. I found a lovely man on RUclips and he thought me how. He is even more impressed with me now but I wanted to thank you for helping me to keep his opinion of me full. If I can’t do something I get him to help me as a lot of the time what stops me is my disability and he tells me that’s ok Granny

Thanks Michael -- I now remember how to do it again. The memory fades as we age and in recent years I've forgotten how to solve the puzzle. Got this puzzle while in hospital in 1956 and asked my Grandad to solve it for me. He quickly came up with a solution (as u did) by clearing each section in order. I hope he's looking down at us and giving us the thumbs up. Cheers, and thanks once again. (Croydon, Surrey then, Canada now) Love your videos, keep 'em comin' Subscribed.

My grandma had a board but it has four more spots. I am wondering if that is normal. The spots are in the corners of the x shape. I have managed to get it down to 2 on that board but I am wondering if it is possible to get it to 1

Very good, but less talking when doing the pattern, and give time to view the board after moving hand completely out of the way before removing the next marble. YOUR muscle memory is not OUR muscle memory. ; )
