Thank you - your explanation was perfect and easy for an old brain like mine to absorb after a couple of views!I could do it in my sleep after that for a while - but I found that, after a few months away from it, I had completely forgotten your critical, opening moves and had to watch this again to refresh my memory! It must be an age thing! Thanks again, though, for showing the way so well!
For 15 years I have been trying to figure out the solution to that puzzle. I only recently found out the puzzles name. If it wasn't for the fact that the person who gifted me this mental torture device died 14 years ago, I would have found the time to hit him over the head with it then see where blasted balls land after that. Thank you so much for the solution. I will now go back to fishing. At least I can always catch a cold if the fish do not bite..
My father bought this for me 53 years ago. Never was able to crack the code until I saw this video today. I still have the board that father bought me. Must try this out and see now

Brilliant. And... I figured out that the first peg you move is the one that winds up in the middle. Perfect! Thanks a bunch. Now to find someone else with a Solitaire board...

I managed to complete my ''Jackie Lawson'' Advent Calendar 'Edwardian Christmas' Virtual marble board this way- I took a screen shot, but sadly, I couldn't have done it without this explanation...could I do it without reference to your video.....that is the tricky bit!
