What saddens me with all the time that's passed with Starved Eggman we've lost what made him feel truly disturbing and dark. The entire story of having discovered that mobian meat has an adverse side effect in humans and just how Sonic was defeated having this entire unnatural uncanny feel to it was lost in translation. Complaining and being a contrarian has become all too popular these days and everyone trying to rewrite and redo this story just cause' "Eggman having red skin makes no sense and is only done for the scary factor" is just an idiotic sinical way to look at the story. The design was made for fun and because analogue horror was popular when Starved Eggman was made. And as a result it came about with that design but now people wanna take away his red skin, no eyes, and put him in a damn apron to make him seem more fitting with the theme. I don't get why we have to complain over every little detail and just not accept things as they are. Nothing will ever beat the original starved Eggman design. That's just an objective fact.
