- Russia has joined Iran's side and has threatened that if Israel strikes back at Iran then Russian forces will strike Israel in response. this is one of the first times in history that two nuclear powers in the region are on the brink of war. Israel's war cabinet has already announced that direct strikes against Iran will go forward, and that the plan is already made. It is unknown whether they will be striking at nuclear facilities or military bases. Israel has killed several Hezbollah commanders this morning in drones strikes inside Southern Lebanon.

Russia will be worried that Israel will hit the shade drone factory that exports to Russia. This would be a larger geopolitical move hitting export weapons will hurt Iran more and make the attack more worthwhile for political damage. This in turn helps Ukraine as well. Thats my arm chair thoughts

The Enforcer has it backwards, what Iran did was the response. Bombing an embassy is an act of war. Note that with 9 Iranian ballistic missiles making it through to Israeli base, that means their defenses were saturated. If Iran attacks with many times the volume Israel will be hurting.

The IAEA estimated in its quarterly report that as of Feb. 10, Iran’s total enriched uranium stockpile was at 5,525.5 kilograms (about 12,182 pounds), an increase of 1,038.7 kilograms (2,289 pounds) since the last quarterly report in November 2023. Some of It is enriched up to 60% purity which is not needed for peaceful power generation. They should have between 3-7 weapons.

People question if Iran has a nuclear weapon and they are probably only 80% there. Well Russia and North Korea are 100% there and would give them nuclear weapons and probably have. North Korea would probably give then chemical weapons or whatever they want if nothing else to test their weapons on and actual population.
Any large scale chemical or biological weapons attack that caused a high number of casualties, especially severe injuries and deaths would be responded to with nuclear weapons. This is a stated policy of the United States.
