According to Pro Football Focus College Football, Colorado Safety Tedric Thompson was named the Best Coverage Defender this past season. Not just safety, but defender in general. He has incredible instincts and has a knack for preventing opposing WRs from catching passes thrown near him REMINDER: If you have any requests for 2017 NFL Draft prospects, be sure to send it to my personal Instagram because it's much easier to keep track. Those are the only requests, I'll take. As always, thanks for watching! || My IG: instagram.com/scotttakade
NYG Beamer That's nice. Is he a prospect for this year? Cuz I'd love my Chargers to snag him in the 2nd round. But my dilemma is, is he better than Justin Evans or is he not. Cus evans is my fav safety prospect lowkey
As a buffs fan, I have gotten to see a LOT of Tedric Thompson. Absolutely phenomenal player. Terrific in pass coverage and a total ball hawk. Great tackler too, made lots of clutch tackles and bug hits. Extremely underrated.
Justin Robledo / Soo glad we addressed our thinness at Safety. Finally. It took this past season for John and Pete to realize Kam and Earl are actually human. I love Shead but Geezus we can only ask so much of that kid. Seriously.
Jodo Exactly why Seattle is so good at drafting. They ignore most of the hype players and focus on talent that can be great!! He can play corner probably or be Kam's successor. I think Seattle did a good job. Got younger on dline got a versatile olinemen. Got a few wr's to back up Kearse and Lockett!! Got safety's to compete for backup roles etc.
Im getting that sense to even I don't hope so but richardson showed excitement and lockett is a stud. I hope he stays thoe he is our nastiest blocker in the wideout group and he is the local guys when to washington collage. So I hope he doesn't hit the cap to hard an finds a way to contribute.
Whompet Gaming I think it's more likely for Delano Hill to be Kam's Successor while Tedric has similar attributes that Earl does sideline to sideline speed ball skills coverage he's almost like an exact copy of him
I think what impresses me most about these plays in that a lot of circumstances, interceptions are 'right place right time" in that the QB simply didnt see you or forced it in there. With a lot of these plays by the safety, he's moving from one part of the field to the next having already diagnosed where the ball will go before it leaves the players hands. That is instinctual, and is hard to teach. It will make him an asset at the next level, not a lucky liability like some corners or safeties. With the right staff in Seattle, I can see him easily growing and maxing out on his talent, regardless of where they put him.
this guy is underrated I think he has good cover range, ball skills, and height to play in the Seahawks scheme I could see him as a nickel corner for seattle.
I normally just try to listen to Mike mayock and that's it. he normally will spit out the truth about a player but will still make you excited about a player. for example last year with Artie burns. he said he was a great kid with a good story and high upside but he's very raw.
brandon williams Not if my Steelers get him first. Lol. Mike Mitchell bites on every playaction pass known to man. Both of our teams need Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu replacements.
NY Giants/Knicks fan just saying don't forget you guys have Darian Thompson. I know he was injured some but he still going to be a great compliment to Landon Collins
Greatest Ever / 3 years from now I predict your worst nightmare. The Browns will have a winning season and win both division games against the Ravens. Invest in a heavy dosage of Schlitz Malt Liquor to cope.
kidplenty colon / Da Bears embarrassed me during the draft and I'm a Seahawks fan. Folks was asking me what was that all about and I said, "id fuckin' know homie", "I'm not the GM" "but I wouldn't have given all those damn picks to move up one fuckin spot!" SMH.
And I don't care anymore about football or the NFL it's such a joke with the rigged games wide receivers dropping catches when they are wide open defenders leaving there man wide open I'm not wasting my Sunday's anymore on this B's.
Tony Prescott do you think the Vikings miss that kick in the playoffs by bad luck ? The Seahawks throw at the one yard line at the end for no reason ?? Lol cam newton avoids going for a fumble because he was scared ? Do you think he played all year just to not go for a fumble in the super bowl lol
thuglifezeem716 exactly do you really think he played all year not to dive for the fumble for some vegas betting shit? No he's a cry baby that's why he did that, you think people are going to risk their lives to play a rigged sport, he'll no. Most of them don't even really get paid that much there's no way stupid, if it was rigged and people were making money like that they'd hop out the game and start betting on them lol, so who told cam to rig the game some vegas bookie? And he listened and didn't ever tell no one about it? For what?
Richard Sherman had excellent SPARQ numbers, and you can see them reflected on the field. He had a respectable forty time for a long strider (4.53), a solid 10-yard split (1.56), a brilliant three cone time (6.72), and he absolutely crushed the vertical (38") and broad (11' 0") jumps. Sherman's explosiveness is what enables him to hang with receivers despite his length and longer windup time. All the other great aspects of his game would be irrelevant if he didn't have the performance measurables to go with them. Tedric Thompson plays a different position, so we shouldn't impose a cornerback standard on him, but it is very curious that the front office didn't find a player with a performance profile closer to Earl's. Maybe Steven Terrell -- who was a reasonable physical facsimile of Earl but couldn't play a lick -- inspired them to take a different approach, and find a guy who was just a good free safety despite non-conforming measurables. He will be interesting to watch, for sure. What happened to that defense when Earl went down for the year was shocking. They can't let that happen again.
Jason Cavitt / Dudes a ball hawk. Reminds me of Earl. This is the deepest DB draft in 12 years at least. We picked up the best out of the secondary of CU and all of them dudes are ball hawks. He reminds me of Earl. In his tape, he is always near the ball or on his way to it. LOB all day!
Correction: the dude was a _college_ ball hawk. Whether he becomes an NFL ball hawk remains to be seen. Physical measurables aren't collected for giggles, they're collected because certain performance standards are prerequisite for the position. But I trust Pete Carroll, and therefore remain hopeful that Thompson's instinctive play can help him overcome his substandard athleticism.
Welcome to the LEGION!
samoan4251 / This kid was born to be a part of the LOB! GO HAWKS!

JustBombsProductions The redskins could definitely use him
JustBombsProductions That's right he a field General I like to call him word to Madden. He gonna be successful in the league
JustBombsProductions Is he a strong or free safety? Cuz if he's a strong safety, you know what team should get him.
Yours Truly He plays both but his primary Position is Strong safety I believe

Velox Cor Shead is a corner
Tony Morelli / Last season he played, the nickle, safety, corner, and special teams. Dudes needs 4 different paychecks for what we ask of him.
Justin Robledo i
I really wanted the Seahawks to get Kevin King... Damn you green bay.

Great job by Carroll and Schneider picking up this huge sleeper. With the right coaching, he could be the next Earl Thomas. Go Hawks!
Welcome to Seattle
I don't understand how he has a 4th round pick, LOB has another weapon in their defense now.

Whompet Gaming I think Kearse is going to be gone soon. Btw Seahawks r my favorite team since I live in Seattle
taj garcha Yea but he might stay if he plays well. He was never the best tbh though.
Im getting that sense to even I don't hope so but richardson showed excitement and lockett is a stud. I hope he stays thoe he is our nastiest blocker in the wideout group and he is the local guys when to washington collage. So I hope he doesn't hit the cap to hard an finds a way to contribute.

This kid is very underrated. Surprised to see such a low draft stock on him. He has great vision and obvisouly plays great zone
WELCOME TO SEATTLE
this guy is underrated I think he has good cover range, ball skills, and height to play in the Seahawks scheme I could see him as a nickel corner for seattle.
My favorite college player ever. Crazy electric
One of the guys visiting the Cowboys. I would love to get someone who isn't a box safety. You could play all kinds of games with Byron Jones and him.
Ball skills crazy
Welcome to Seattle Ted!!
Great player! But idk how's he gonna fit Seahawks physical and agressive defence? Hopefully Pete has a plan for him!
Welcome to Seattle!
I'll take this guy in the 2nd round maybe in the third if he is still on the board but what a steal if he gets drafted in the later rounds
Wow this guy is good!!! Welcome to the Hawks
Seahawks just know how to draft defense my goodness. #LOB
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I wish I could’ve snagged 7 picks in college.
what's the song in the intro
Love my buffs
Shane Buechele highlights would be much appreciated, even if they came after draft season
What is the name of the song In the beginning the link doesn't work 4 me
We could drop demps... He would fit nice into our already solid secondary
Khemmdawg I get Desmond king and convert him to safety
Colorado's dbs are really good.
SEA!
Jared Bess /HAWKS!!!
nice video bro
aye, what yall think of that mock draft stuff they do on t.v.? is that b.s. or do they be right sometimes?
Versatile Genius I think most of it is bs most players they mock are based off of hype
Wat u think about solomon thomas frm stanford?
redskinz nation
Versatile Genius depends where you read it. Bigger people like ESPN and CBS make the worst ones. CBS is straight retarded
I normally just try to listen to Mike mayock and that's it. he normally will spit out the truth about a player but will still make you excited about a player. for example last year with Artie burns. he said he was a great kid with a good story and high upside but he's very raw.
wow, Great Vision!
what is your intro song?
Round projection?
Bills Mafia he'd be great for y'all
Bills Mafia my falcons gone still him
Don't ask Mel Kiper. Homie is an idiot. I'm a Seahawks fan. We got an F- the year we drafted Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson. Seriously.
You should put round projection in your intro
do more highlight tapes for Donovan Wilson #6 strong safety for Texas a@m
Do Joey Julius

Dallas Cowboys
Tyler Meek Don't think he's gonna last til our 4th round pick tomorrow unfortunately
Brandon Van boy do I hope he gets to our number
Best all around Db In History
I would love for my Ravens to get him
As a Steelers fan, I would not love for them to draft him. lol He's such a beast
Called a ravens first comment
RavensNation, he'd be prefect. Him Jimmy, Quincy Wilson, Eric Weddle and Tavon Young man it would be great
brandon williams Not if my Steelers get him first. Lol. Mike Mitchell bites on every playaction pass known to man. Both of our teams need Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu replacements.
Lol true
um this isn't Malik Hooker lol
No your right Hooker is on another level with what he can do in coverage but this kid is a damn good cover safety maybe nickelback even.
AlphaDwg something in me feels like Thompson is gonna have a better NFL career than hooker
sure why not. No one really knows till they play lol
Dallas need to draft this guy we already got his teammate Chidobe Awuzie
N.O Saints should really DRAFT this kid
Can he play Free Safety cuz we need that, especially since we usually allow deep passes (like the Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary)
Yes, he can play both safety positions.
NY Giants/Knicks fan just saying don't forget you guys have Darian Thompson. I know he was injured some but he still going to be a great compliment to Landon Collins
Akrum Wadley the most elusive back in the nation
why did he went that late?
Welcome to cleveland young man #dawgpound
broncos need to draft this guy... 3rd day.... 1st year starter... I think he is better than Ward
do Joe Williams
he needa come to the cowboys..🔵🔳💯
Kid Goku him or orion stewart
Kid Goku we need a D-lineman
i like byron at CB better than FS though
Silas Abraham Byron can't play FS
I can see Tedric Thompson playing FS and move Byron over to SS. He's more of a ball hawk than Jones.
Wauwww, I'm seeing Earl Thomas in this kid. Welcome to Seahakws Legion of BOOM !!!
And he's not even talked about still...if he gets a shot, he's gonna ball.
future ravens
Greatest Ever / 3 years from now I predict your worst nightmare. The Browns will have a winning season and win both division games against the Ravens. Invest in a heavy dosage of Schlitz Malt Liquor to cope.

I can only think of one word: delusional

There is life after Earl, good to know! xD
Steelers should go after him, Mike Mitchell is bad in coverage
Marcus allen is
And I don't care anymore about football or the NFL it's such a joke with the rigged games wide receivers dropping catches when they are wide open defenders leaving there man wide open I'm not wasting my Sunday's anymore on this B's.
John Davis you think people put work in their whole life to play a rigged game, snap out of it dip shit
Tony Prescott some games are definitely rigged believe it or not vegas plays a roll the NFL is entertainment

Why'd You Stop Showing The Stats And Shit
Khagee because u touch yourself at night
Cevanfx maybe
Brilliant college player... bad NFL athlete. We'll see how long he can survive with those SPARQ numbers, but welcome to Seattle anyway.
Sherm isn't the fastest guy. None of that matters much as long as dude can ball and he's smart.
And Tom Brady was/is a sub-standard athlete by measurables, point? Either you got it or you don't, regardless of sparq #s or combine performance.
He can’t tackle and the NFL is proving to be too much for his coverage skills
Really bad in nfl
