What I Learned About Myself While Traveling the World, Anna W. Gap Year Exploration Month 2023

During her gap year, Anna traveled independently to over 20 countries around the world. From Australia to Bosnia, she said yes to any adventure she could and learned so much about herself along the way. 🌎
How, you may ask? She saved up a lump sum of money, quit her corporate 9-5 job and then hit the road! 💸
What She Wishes She Had Known: “I wish I knew about Gap Year Consultants and that they could have guided me more during this time. Also, I wish I knew there were so many options for your gap time. From volunteering to paid work, I think if I took a more serious look at the options, I would have made more friends and had amazing memorable experiences.” Anna now channels that passion for travel into her work as director of enrollment for Adventure Exp - helping other young adults find their path through working opportunities in unique places.
