I love milsurps also. I have a 98k marked DOU 44. All the numbers match that I can tell. It was allegedly a vet bring back. I got it for 500 dollars about 15 years ago, They also had a bunch of 98s for 195 dollars but I passed on them. I wish now I had bought them all. Great vid keep them coming.
Beautiful Mauser. I wish I'd bought several back when they were $200-$300. As an aside, I hope shooting war horses doesn't get you in trouble w the algae ribbon.
Nice rifle! I've got two KAR98k's, a DOT 1943 and BYF 44 as well. Something that is weird for me is that the Romanian made ammo that I bought didn't chamber in either one of them. Ever since then, I've shot Yugo, Greek, Persian and even new manufactured 8mm ammo in them without a hitch. Overall, a good video. 😎👍
I have this exact rifle unrestored fully operable numbers matching with the waffen markings .. 23206 d mod .98 metal but stock has the cleaner all origonal. Im looking to sell but cant find a value anywhere i do knownit was made early 44 at the offendorf factory
