My question is: why does Pastor Laurie refer to the woman clothed with the sun as Israel, and not Mary? Unless I misconstrued his message, from what my friend mentioned to me, how can this be Israel, they rejected the chief cornerstone which is Jesus. This sounds to me like a revisionist interpretation of Revelation 12. I do believe in the Tribulation Period, occuring during the Apocalypse, then the Rapture where Jesus will lift us into Heaven. But I reject his statement that this is not Mary in Rev. 12, because she is safely escorted to the desert with the infant Christ to safety, to fulfill the prophecy of Jesus, the Savior who redeemed us from eternal damnation.
