    I just wanted to drop a quick message to say that I am preparing the quiche now and it reminded me back in the day when this video was one of the first ones I was searching once me and my husband decided to go vegan. And soooo I found a comment that I made four years ago :D Still the best quiche ever - even after 4 years!

    Maaan, that must be the tastiest meal I've like EVER eaten! The only tiny modification that I made is that I've added 2 spoons of mustard while mixing tofu with cashews. The taste was fabulous!

    Thank you. I cook for a large extended family on occasions. Some being vegans, veggies and a number of other dietary requirements. In the past it has been difficult, now I have found this site, life is so much easier.

    That looks amazing! I think I'm going to try making this with some leftover zucchini since I don't like tomatoes. :) Don't have a tart pan but I think my 9" spring-form will do.

    How about adding turmeric and paprika to the tofu filling to impart some additional color and provide even more of a quiche look.

    いつも 観させてもらっています。娘が 卵と乳製品アレルギーなので ビーガン料理にとても 興味があります。
    私自身 小麦粉が体に合わないため、そして 世間でも小麦粉は食べない方がいいと言われているので、
    なるべく と言うよりほとんど 食べません。ですから 洋食は 殆ど 作れない状態です。
    でも この料理を見ていると ビーガン料理で小麦粉なしでも 作れそうな気がします。
    娘が 17歳の時の アレルギーがあるとわかりました。それまでは 色々なものを食べていたので、
    だから娘の記憶の中に残っているので、母親として出来れば色んな種類の食事を作ってあげたいと思うのですが
    自分自身が仕事で忙しいのを 理由に ごまかしていると言うか、、、、
    なかなか 新しいものを始めることができないと言うか、、、
    小麦粉を使わないで ペイストリーを作れる方法を教えてください。

    タルト生地の小麦粉を米粉に替えてもできますか?

    If you don't like too many eggs for your quiche, then one block of firm tofu and cashew nuts are the way to go!!
