People who stumbled upon this video many years later: first of all, we're glad you're here; second, you have no idea how ground-breaking this video was with the inspiration it gave the whole LR community. That moment Bosh (the sled guy) zoomed past Stonehenge and hit the gravity wells on Mt. Rushmore was indisputably the most impressive thing anybody ever saw in Line Rides up to that point. Everything from the scening style of the "cliffs" to the monuments to the spooky tree was imitated so much, you wouldn't believe it. The music was sick, too - what memories this video brings back...
Late, but same. Was craving some of their black halo stuff. It ended up looking for mourning star...and poof, back to the game that took up most of my working hours as an intern 🤣
Damn, I remember watching this video SO MANY times the summer it came out, I tried remaking it and it was terribly bad but still fun to attempt. Did you ever upload these tracks anywhere?
Thank you a million times for introducing me to Kamelot, and with such a groundbreaking linerider, you are the guy that most people remember when they think of linerider, the original G.O.A.T
What's impressive about this, even more than the drawings, is the composition and clearly defined artistic style. I remember when this came out and I'm still a huge fan.
i cannot even begin to comprehend how something like this is humanly possible. It is so unbelievable the time and effort that goes into this and the product is incredible.
This is one of my favorites. 5/5. When things happen unexpectedly in Line Rider, it always keeps me interested, and this kept me interested all the way through.
Holy crap man! I'm amazed. I could dedicate my life to line rider and never make something even near the caliber that that was. You drew Mount Rushmore and the Coliseum better than I could on paper. I like your choice of music, it sets an epic mood for the whole thing.
I just want to say, that when I first watched this several years ago, you introduced me to the most AMAZING music EVER. I am so in love with Kamelot and have been for years now, thanks to this video!
Oh my god... I am so falling in love with your art!! Just the way you have drawn! And the way you have put the music into the video, and maken it start to rock when he leaves the land and stuff!
several years later this thing still amazes me. it was this video that made me get this song. i'm more or less amazed the most that that little guy stays on his sled the whole time, all it takes is one minor bump to knock him off, and here he is swinging from trees and tumbling down cliffs. i think the line rider hates me he falls of at the slightest bump.
The best line rider ever. Period. Even the drawings are so damn detailed, like Mount Rushmore, that must've taken you ages. The whole fricking route must've taken you atleast 2 months+, Kudos to you sir. Really. 5/5
I love this video not only did it introduce me to the greatness that is Kamelot but everything is so well detailed and the track is amazing. Good work techdawg!
Not only do you display an amazing knowledge of the game's mechanics, you also have a very pleasing aesthetic to all your tracks. 5/5, very nice. Sent to a few friends.
My entire metal playlist is based off the seed of Kamelot which I first heard through this amazing video. What a ride to see some of these recent comments!
It never ceases to bless me when someone makes a comment like this, even now being nearly 15 years later, that one would take the time to share how a video of mine impacted some unique part of their life just warms my spirit. So to you, my friend, I thank YOU for my blessing of the day! May your day and the rest of your life be filled with joy, truth and love from above! 🤗
This is definitely my fav track of yours. I know the technicals don't take nearly as long as the artistic aspect, and getting the 2 to work together. An amazing combination of both.
the coolest thing with u Dawg is not ur painting skills, or ur linerider skills, its how u manage to combine the two!! crazy line rider and awesum scenery!! 5
my jaw dropped about 20 yimes, i nearly cryed it was so amazing, i liked discarded more though, your truly amazing techdawg, keep up the outstanding tracks
I've been a fan of your tracks pretty much since Line Rider was released and I can say without a doubt you make the best tracks out there. I excited for your next one.
Ahhh... the good old days of Beta 2 :) I'm in your situation, I've been a huge fan since around Feb '07. I used to always want to be an amazing scenery artist when I got older, but instead I took the path of quirky, learning from MrZNF's videos. I still love TechDawg's tracks to this day
From Gameinformer Magazine, June '08, Issue 182, under the review of Line Rider 2: Unbound. "It turned out that many of the most impressive tracks were created by one poster, TechDawg. After seeing what TechDawg could do with the new tool set, inXile hired him to create all of the 40 single-player player puzzles in Unbound." CONGRATZ!!! freaking amazing tracks and your an amazing artist and i love fullmetal alchemist too you rock you're going places i know it lol
dude i can't even keep the damn guy on the sled down a straight line let alone draw incredible "art" like this on a computer program. u should be proud of yourself for your efforts even if they arent this good.
Wow, a lot of people seem to think you have no life, and a lot of people loved your work. Me, Myself, loved it, Stonehenge was freakin' awesome as it zoomed by, props on the better quality on your site as well. Keep riding the lines man, it suits you well.
You really are a legend at this thing. I try making them, but I lack the artistic ability to make the incredible scenery you do. Good choice of music too, I really like it
OMG dude i saw your nose manul kings vid that u added all the detail 2 and thought that was truely amazing but this just wow completly mind blowing man

@Damon Day Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment. I appreciate it more than you know. 👍😊
13 years later and I still draw inspiration from this whenever I hand render building sections.
Haha you are so right. Plus I got introduced to kamelot :D
16 years later, and I still regularly think of this video, and this song. You're not just a LR legend, you're an internet icon. 👏👏

Late, but same. Was craving some of their black halo stuff. It ended up looking for mourning star...and poof, back to the game that took up most of my working hours as an intern 🤣
You were a god to me in my childhood... its so nostalgic to watch this so many years later.
The music. The art. The nostalgia. Thanks techdawg if you are still out there
This remains to be my favourite Line Rider track.
Thanks for showing me Kamelot and incredible track design all those years ago.

early days here, wow
So happy I searched and found this video! Great times.
What's impressive about this, even more than the drawings, is the composition and clearly defined artistic style. I remember when this came out and I'm still a huge fan.
Always think of this video whenever I hear Mourning Star. It’s been 12 years.
Seriously, this was the best line rider I ever saw. Congrats dude, you're realy talented.
All of that detail and drawing, along with the epicness that is Kamelot. Mixed together, they create this masterpiece!

i cannot even begin to comprehend how something like this is humanly possible. It is so unbelievable the time and effort that goes into this and the product is incredible.

This is one of my favorites. 5/5. When things happen unexpectedly in Line Rider, it always keeps me interested, and this kept me interested all the way through.

This is what happens when you cross an epic program, an epic artist, and some epic music! Thanks for making my saturday afternoon!
I just want to say, that when I first watched this several years ago, you introduced me to the most AMAZING music EVER. I am so in love with Kamelot and have been for years now, thanks to this video!
