I 100% agree. I have heard his voice with my own ears live and he is a fab singers. His back up singers screwed him over. Such a lovely person and should have definitely been higher in the rankings.
First time I heard this on CD I was blown away how catchy, frantic and Eurovisiony it sounded. Fabrizio is a good singer but performance could've been better, the dancers, backing vocalist and icky choreography disadvantaged the song but last place? So underserved and harsh, considering Malta came 2nd year before. Albanian jury gave em their one and only point
He looks like Zac Efron! The stage performance wasn't impressive (boring dancers and choreography) at all but it is not a bad song. His voice is not great either

I remember the performance he did in Malta during the local festival was so good that everyone voted for him, including myself. But then everything changed once he was at the Eurovision. I have no idea who came up with this hideous choreography and that barking vocalist.
Not so much of a song fan but I give him at least 8 points for his eyebrows. Well done. I hope your eyebrows are still this fine and that they're healthy, happy, brushed and plucked.

Backing vocals always ruin most of the songs, and the same thing happened in this case! That backing vocalist was bad, Fabrizio should have sung alone without any backing vocalist: he would have surely ended in a higher position.
The performance was absolutely butchered. Commenting this in 2021, I can tell this song definitely could have made GOOD USE of the pre-recorded backing vocals.

I've always liked this song. I feel so sorry for him. He was clearly so thrilled to be there and his backup singers screwed up the harmony.
His own voice is very weak too. Don't blame just the backing singers.
