are you easy to impress? the skin is thin so they use ribs to give it some rigidity. i owned "2cv" 50 years ago, it was a cross between a car and cheap under powered golf cart
commercial off--the-shelf campervans like this, may look exciting. Yet, 5 years down the track, maintenance cost, especially replacement parts like the shower slide, would be exuberant.
Love the bathroom arrangement 😃 yes like it.👍🚐 in the mean time im just enjoying my recently purchased classic for 4k yep that's all.it's good enough for me.
The Look and the size is awesome , love the wood, bed but the refrigerator is too small (as is most campers) the bathroom is fine but they could of done better though its not as long and theres no slide outs so they did good. thanks!
I'm sure panels beaters and insurance companies alike are going to be well impressed by the nightmares caused by repairing it and paying for the repairs when it's dinged !
@@therealunclevanya True, but the origin of this design was earlier. The French copied the early WW2 german aircraft designers who used light corrugated materials to strengthen their aircraft skins. Most people, except the French, think this engineering compromise looks hideous, except on a roof.
@Norman Mazlin Everyone copied. This design dates from the 19th century. At that time, some roofs of English houses are made in this way. The first planes to use this design date from the 1st World War (like the Junkers D1). And many vehicles (that you do not know) were built this way before the Junker Ju52 and the Citroen type H.
I live in the south of France, there’s a garage not far and there a maybe thirty of these old style HY’s just sitting in the compound, rusting away, I’ve seen some of these when done up asking silly money.
Mike Brewer and Edd China rebuilt a Citroen HY van on their tv show Wheeler Dealers a few years ago. That's possibly where the idea for this remake came from.
, it's cool looking. I would have it sprayed with black bed liner for sure.!!!!!!! the front end looks kinda like the van in the movie Jeepers creepers !!!!!!!
With all of the custom bodywork you can hardly tell it’s built on a Ducato/Promaster base. I’d be curious to know if those are replacement panels or just add-ons. Otherwise, lots of bits that are familiar (or exactly the same) to the layout and design of my Hymer Aktiv.
This is the real Citroen spirit, just fun, pleasure & dream. I like it.
i really think that is the nicest looking camper ive ever seen
nice to have one like this, childhood memorises
This vehicle brings me back 40 years back, thank you for the visit!!
I love the outside.. It's like a vintage van given a modern twist... I like it!!

I love the look too.

Very good camper!
A Portable toilet on wheels... how wonderful
Take my money! love the retro look
I agree with S Sandu - its really cool looking; a bit old style but obviously quality materials on the body and inside.
This is what you call a non-slip exterior shell camper van 😂. Shower floor space is brilliant. 🍻
old style renewed i loooove it! J'adore ce mélange de style ancien et la technologie ça m'arrive pas souvent mais bien joué Citroën !!!
Clever Citroen -retro with a modern twist for a better driving experience
Very cleverly laid out camper van with very good design ideas making me wish Citroën was available in my country....again....sigh!

Panelbeaters nightmare with all those ridges
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Now that's really cool looking looks like an old Dodge airflow I really like that
Me gustó, la mezcla de tecnología y el diseño de a mediados del siglo pasado, es perfecto, y con la calidad Citroën, que mejor.
Very nice.
I especially liked the
Transporter Room.
Stunning!
Nasty! Clever sliding door setup though.
Awesome beautiful
I like big replaceable Tupperware Playskool panel outside for making big crash !
I'm in love!!!
It seems that a Camper on Sprinter is larger and more complete and subsequently less expensive!
Real nice
Like it all except the washroom shower combo
Noddy has already put in his order!
Legendary !
Muito bacana lindo
Que preciosidad de camper
Great retro design, looks like the original Citroën Type H.
But for me, i like more my skoolie 😇

FINALLY a good looking camper!
German lightweight ply is used in these campers
Brilliant.....
Inside it looks just like others.
Perfect Video
Beautiful what a beauty ))
Que increíble furgon
Looks like a giant plastic kids toy. Great for the back yard.
Looks like a WWII Junkers aircraft without wings. Nice inside though.
Norman Mazlin 7
No its based on the eesign of classic Citroen vans from the 50s to the 70s. Ribbed because the tin was thin☺

Love the grill!

At 86,000€ I’ll stick with my Berlingo Micro-camper! Though it is truly a thing of beauty!
I like it shame they don’t do a normal van version or do they ?

Looks like some Retro 1950’s motorhome
Love the camper ,not so much the price.
Bellissimo giocattolino, per ormai i pochi che se lo possono permettere, ma la reale situazione sociale è ben diversa.
Does it float, I love it. Like the background music, feels like i'm in Paris.

A retro camp mobile ❤️❤️❤️
Yeah because the French have such a great history of manufacturing quality, low maintenance vehicles with inexpensive replacement parts.
I was thinking the same thing. It'll have a 1 mile or 1 hour warrenty, whatever you reach first.
wow!!!!awesome
the wave profile panels looks like if it be from Dixie Toilette, only the blue dixie colour missing 🤣🤣
Does it have a shower?
Magnifique.
Got the styling spot on but like all retros is suffers from over pricing its value .
