At 12:00 PM, The City of Plano Texas conducted a Monthly test of their Tornado sirens on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022.
This unit is located at 6101 Legacy Dr. Tests are conducted on the first Wednesday of the month at 12:00 PM.

That makes no sense from a technical stand point... How can a machnical siren be better? It doesn't have voice capabilities or special tones.... Also if they think they are better from a longevity perspective it stupid BC both have the same if not better life span

@@ethearnos6397 Sure mechanical sirens can't do voice, but mechanical ones have a sort of oomph to them and can rumble your chest. You don't get the same sensation from electronic ones, most of them are earpiercing. We don't hate electronic sirens, but many prefer mechanical because of how beastly they sound. But these are all opinions at the end of the day.

@@CycloneJoey518 yea.. The reason why these do t give ophm is because their sound is more consitrated in a sertain direction.. Of you where dorectly infront for instance a whelen r4 then it's gonna feel like your at a concert and the sound is vibrating your chest

My city installed multiple of thsse new sirens and plans to make more. Cureently the old system is still up so yoy can here these right next to the T-128s in my city, its creepy.
There is infact one right next to a T-128 at a fire station where i live.
