In this scouting report, I wanted to look at DJ Moore out of Maryland. He's a very smooth athlete, but he 's still fundamentally raw with his route running. He needs to get better at stemming his routes and vertically attacking the defense to get more space underneath. I think his potential will cause teams to pick in the first round even though I gave him an early second round grade.
Pro Comparison: Golden Tate - Both are similarly sized and are great at gaining yards after the catch. The Lions use Tate on a bunch of screens, slants, hitches, and flats and I feel like that would be a great role for Moore as he adjusts in the NFL.

Moore has all the tools to be one of the best ever. He just needs to put in the work. He has freakish combine numbers. He is the best wide receiver athlete in this draft.

Great comparison to Golden Tate
Cowboys would waste a 1st round pick on him, I think he can drop to the 2nd...ideally I want a DT or a Safety if we can't get earl Thomas.

Earl Thomas is too costly (draft-wise), the hawks what a 1st and 3rd rounder. No way that's going to happen, as a rebuilding team we need more draft capital, not less. Totally agree on the DT or safety. My best hope is Vita, but he will likely be gone by 19. No wide out's please. We have good WRs, we need to give them a chance, KD Cannon, Brown, Hurns, Switzer, Thompson, and off course the TE Rico, its time to see what these guys can bring to the table. Let's get some real depth on defense this year.

I will continue to say this! My cowboys need to trade down in the first unless a blue chip falls at 19. If not we should move down and pick up a extra pick and we could still get a really good player that will help us day one.
Definitely don’t agree with your assessment of DJ’s ability to make the tough catch. Check his game film again and then do a reassessment!
