I’m a SoCal girl, moved up to central cal, and you wouldn’t think the weather would be that different but fuuuuuuuh. It is. I’m so over this gloomy winter. I see all my old friends and family enjoying the sun and it’s just gray here. Seasonal depression is real 😅
I live in Pennsylvania where the weather can be 70 one day and 40 the next. Some years it feels like winter until May and then suddenly it is 90°. I love the 70-85 degree temps as well. That is perfect for me For the cold, gray days my kids gave me a sunlight lamp for my birthday. I was diagnosed years ago with Seasonal Affective Disorder and the lamp has really made a difference. I need bright light to function properly. P. S. - I love your house! Looking forward to the organization video.

I have lived in north Idaho my whole life. It’s beautiful here too and I have always loved the 4 seasons. But I am also getting to the point where the dreary spring is almost too much. I love the snow but as we get older it gets harder to clear it from the sidewalk and driveway. But my whole family lives here and I can’t imagine being anywhere else without them!

That’s like by me - I have an old navy, Burlington, TJMaxx, Michael’s, bath and body works, kohls - next plaza is target, five below and dollar tree! Across the street is Walmart and a bit down the road is hobby lobby lol It’s the best!

I just got some acrylic shelves for my bathroom that I want to get my skin care on and things off the counters. they get cluttered so easy and my drawers are a mess. LOL
Lol about not getting over leaving Tennessee. That’s where I’m from! When I got married we moved to Alabama but only 30 min away from my hometown in TN 🤣 everything is already blooming here! And in the 70s but suppose to snow next week 🫣
We just bought the same pan from TJMaxx. We actually bought the entire set they had. We love them so far! I agree about the cold. We are originally from Oklahoma, and lived in Kentucky (our favorite ❤️) now in Missouri my husband got job offers to move to South Dakota or Green Bay, Wisconsin. No way could we live in that climate. No offense to anyone that lives there. It just would be too much of a temperature shock to what we are so accustomed to. I understand that y’all stay in Oregon to be close to family. However, when we moved to KY away from ALL our family and everything we had ever known it actually brought us, me, hubby and 2 kids, closer. 😊 oh, love seeing your family photo above your buffet table? I thought something looked different on the wall over there.

I know EXACTLY how you feel on the weather. I’m in South Dakota and it’s been literally freezing🥶cold here since September, and it’ll be freezing until June here too. Ugh, I absolutely hate it too. Then we get about 3 1/2 mos of crazy hot weather where it’ll be 115 degrees with super high humidity and the most insane thunderstorms and tornadoes, you name it, and it’s back to Winter again for 8 mos. I’m serious, we really only get about 1 week of nice Fall or Spring weather per year, and sometimes it just skips right into the next season. We camp every Memorial Day weekend, and we’ll get ice storms, snow.. It’s terrible.. Idk why I’ve never moved, but if you can, you should do it girl! Don’t wait until your kids are raised and have established lives there, like I did, because then you’ll never leave.:( God Bless!! 👍🙏🏼✨
I’d love to but Donnie’s family roots run deep here and although we have discussed moving out of state many times, it’s hard to leave everything and everyone you know behind. Oregon has always been home for him so I have to be understanding of that even though I’d love to move somewhere warmer 🥰

I was looking at those spinning acrylic organizers earlier today on Amazon for the bathroom counter. 5 people means the counter is rarely visible and it's so hard to clean when you have 547 products out without anything to make them easy to pick up. I think if I got two of them all the potions and lotions would be organized and looking way better. At this point in history, we should have far better organization methods built in to everything instead of it being some random thing we all have to battle and navigate... Ugh
