remove the nuts to make apace for the cuts, use cutting pliers, cut the ends of the two rings sufficiently, then remove them, then cut about 100°, so they can still be reattached.
Fun fact: Chromia doesnt need a kick stand in bike mode to stand by itself. The wheels are wide enough. Just roll the bike a few inches on a flat surface and she will stand on her own. Creating the shield was genius! Though, I wouldnt want to modify my Chromia. Shes perfect just the way she is.

just cut off the ring holder, just enough , so it can still be reattached.
