The best advice I can give you for this fight is to FOCUS ON DEFENSE...Inhibitor lumane and Jing yuan already are doing the offensive attacks you dont need anymore just defend and keep Jing yuan alive and youll win
I beat her in two tries. I used Jing Yuan (trial), Fire MC, Natasha and March. Let Fire MC do all the tank while March and Natasha focus on keeping Jing Yuan and Fire MC alive. I mostly attack the main body though, and just leave the flowers to Jing Yuan’s lighting follow up and Dan Heng. Only use Nat’s alt when you know Phantylia’s gonna do big damage, or if things are getting scary.
this was actually so helpful to me thank youu- march and natasha really do help with all the healing when put together, before that i failed so many times cause i could not keep everyone alive with just natasha or march alone
This exact team worked for me as well. I tried to keep March's shield on Jing Yuan for most of the fight. Also don't forget the consumables right before the fight that gives attack and defense boost. 👍
My 3rd attempt, I was able to defeat her by using trial character Jing yuan, my bailu, Luocha, and Yukong. I was able to survive her ultimates and attacks, and manage to defeat her. That was kind of hard. My team that survived her ults and atks. 2 healers(bailu and Luocha), 1 utilizing buffs (Yukong), and lastly 1 that can do damage to the boss (trial character Jing Yuan).
Man this boss is extremely hard for me, as someone who uses a solo hypercarry seele with a silverwolf, yukong and tingyun this boss is just my nightmare. I can take down the first phase in the first few turns but the second phase just does too much damage.

@@Sophiee132it was tough but I got it on my first try with all free characters. March, MC fire, and Natasha. Just need to time and use the moves wisely just like any other boss fights. Keeping up with March's shield on the general really helped for me to keep him alive. Make sure light cones, relics, and everything else are at a reasonable level. Good luck!

I finally get to defeat her after leveling up my characters' traces a bit more and after watching this guide! I kept hitting Phantylia all the time instead of the lotuses lol I use level 80 fire MC, trial Jing Yuan, 80 Dan Heng, and 70 Natasha. (My own Jing Yuan is level 80 but his relics and trace ain't as good as the trial one yet)

@@Kaori-- It's best if you have a shield character like Gepard; it would make things easier. However I don't have him, and the only healer I have is Natasha, so yea this boss sure is a challenge.
Got this boss on my first try with March, MC fire, and Natasha (all level 50). Few close calls but everbody survived. Just kept up March's shield on Jing Yuan and it worked out. All these phases in these boss fights are really tricky....never really know when the fight is over. 😅

defeat in 1 go, used trial Jing Yuan, lvl 50 welt to delay action, lvl 50 kafka for counter, lvl 50 natasha for recover, all equiped with lvl 50 light cone. saving skill points for natasha and use her skill & ult to milk Jing Yuan and keep the team always with full hp before entering next phase, and focus on attacking phantylia in phase 2 and 3 cause the lotus regenerates too quick
Nice video.. I defeated her first try and because of you i had idea of what to target first.. I am level 47 right now so boss was level 58 .. My team was Fire Trailblazer level 50 , Jing Yuan ( trial version) level 58 , sushang level 50 , luocha level 60 .. Don't have much relics upgraded and decent traces .. Most of the battle just focus on keeping yourself alive and damage will be happening as you progress through your ultimate or aoe or imbibitor lunae .. All the best to all players you will surely bet it keep trying !!!
@@hannaIVI Try to target branches first ( the skill points one ) and if you have well build characters it will make much easier and if you have gepard or luocha it will make it much easier. If not then try with 2 sustains and drag the fight long and deal damage with jing and IL .. It might help !!
Jing Yuan really drags this.. he's the only one that is easily killed in the team. I still can't beat her because he always fail to be alive barely on round ine

After watching the video and looking through the comments for extra tips I tried the fight again and beat Phantylia with Fire MC, March 7th, Dr. Ratio and Jing Yuan! Thank you so much!! Hitting the flowers first was a super helpful tip :)
This boss is not that hard, BUT im not able to change my party. At first, i didn't use a healer because my Natasha is too weak. But after i got Lynx, i want to use her as a healer, BUT I CANT CHANGE THE PARTY! 😭😭

You’ve probably already defeated this boss seeing as this comment was made three months ago, but in case you haven’t, I’m in the exact same boat as you LOL (except I also use Dr Ratio). I’m gonna try using Fire MC and March for defense focus since a lot of comments talked about that so I advise you to do the same. I’ll have Jing Yuan and Ratio as DPS but Dan Heng will do just fine. Just defeated the boss. I used Fire MC, March 7th, Dr. Ratio and Jing Yuan. For your case use Dan Heng in replacement of Ratio. Have March shield characters every turn so they can survive Phantylia’s attacks, especially Jing Yuan, and hit the lotuses first as the video suggests :)
I beat her after two tries. I used Jing Yuan (Trial), Fire MC Lv.50, Bailu Lv.40, and March Lv.40. Bailu is quite helpful in restoring hp, and march as a shield. I was greatly helped by the comments here, I had doubts about losing because I don't have luocha and natasha is still at a low level.
Today, I defeated Phantylia in Story Mode with an unusual team comp Dan Heng (4 Star) Yukong Lynx Jing Yuan (Trial ofc) Apparently what I did is just cycle with everyone in every phase. I let DH target the flower to recover skill points since his skill is enough to break the flowers and possibly kill them with the DoT. Yukong is just cycling from skill to basic either the flowers or Phantylia to skill and ult (if available) Lynx heals anyone whenever it is needed. And King Yuan slams Phantylia alone, I should let the man destroy his enemy lol In the second phase, all the same except DH will now target Phantylia whenever the flowers are dead or will just be killed by IL. Yukong instead shoots Phantylia since I can't break flowers anyways. Meanwhile Lynx will use ult when everyone is para siphoned, and Jing Yuan stays the same. In the last, I just let all things go and keep everyone alive, until halfway 3rd Phase, Dan Heng died and left with low hp Yukong. Pretty much in the last fight, Phantylia is like 15% and my Lynx died lol, and then Yukong used her final ult before she died. Then I ended it with Jing Yuan ult and follow up with seriously low health lmao.
What’s painful about this is I was in the third stage with her having only 7 health, my healer was one stage late to heal Jing Yuan. Tip, keep your Jing Yuan and healer dam alive having your main alive as a side quest and with just have the last character being someone whose damage amount is good, but it doesn’t really matter as I assume your main is already the strongest in your team.

i literally just used jing Yuan (obviously), March 7th, Lynx and Natasha. Just use them to keep Jing Yuan alive. Try not to use Natasha’s alt unless you know a big damage thing is coming. Don’t pay attention to the flower things either.

Finally defeated her in one try with Acheron, Gepard and Natasha (don't mention Jing Yuan obviously). It took me like 20 minutes, but Gepard's shield was to OP.
I shouldn't have done the equillibrium mission before doing this boss fight and now i'm struggling. I'm at equillibrium lvl 6 now and most of my characters are lvl 60-75. Only DH and DH•IL are lvl 80😂
The team I used was jing yuan, March, silverwolf, and Natasha. I was struggling before but bringing march helped me alot i just beat her as im typing this comment.
It just kinda sucks because I gotta grind so much to level march and Natasha up because my team focuses purely on AOE damage and every.single.time I get her down to 1% HP on the final phase and she kills the trail character which means I lose. And then I spent hours grinding to trailblazer level 30 so I could upgrade the team to level 50 and such, guess what? The boss changed from recommended level 40, to recommended level 50. And now I do even WORSE because of it. It just sucks because Ive grinded so much just to be met with more grinding since apparently I have to have a healing/defense team to beat her.
Honestly it was so hard for me to defeat her 😭 she was at 1% AND THEN JING YUAN DIED!! 😭😢 I’m so glad I finally defeated her it took me 5 attempts OMG I was about to cry Enough of that, thanks for the guide 🙏 I would’ve been stuck there for another hour if it wasn’t for you
i litreally can not defeat her, her extra action keeps killing my whole team in the third phase, and by the time she does huge dmg with her hand i cant get natashas ult up to heal the team

I tried for like 16-17 times ... I thought it was just impossible to defeat her but I did defeat her today 😭😭... I'm so happy rn. Last time I uninstalled the game because of her but this time I was determined to defeat her. Thanks to March,Nat and Dan. For four times Jing yuan died when she was at 3,4,5 and 8%. And I got so frustrated every time that happened but finally... couldn't be more happy rn. (Tip- light cone level should be max and also upgrade your trace levels)
I took advice from fellow commenters and finally beat her using trial character-Jing yuan, gepard, Natasha and kafka (all lvl 50) this combo works so well.
i finally defeated this b after 3 tries i managed to defeat her today using march for shielding trial jing yuan natasha for healing and seele im so glad i’m done with this boss i’ve been struggling thank god 😮💨

Wow in the comments I see a lot of cool characters used and now I feel dumb for beating the boss fight with such a common lineup (MC, March 7th and Dan Heng)
Being able to clear the game with free characters seems like it would be a bigger flex. Using limited 5 stars feels like you're playing the game on easy mode. And the trailblazer is technically a 5 star characters so gotta give him/her more credit. No other character can switch between paths so it's pretty neat that they can do that.
I made it to the third phase with trial Jing Yuan, Kafka, Bronya, and Natasha, but well they couldn't make it past third phase lmaoo this is like, what, my 10+ try? I don't know anymore I so desperately wanna get this quest done over with. I saw a comment using Natasha and M7, since I don't have much preservation character other than MC and M7, will definitely try that combo.. wish me luck. :')
update: I defeated Phantylia with MC preservation, Bronya, and Natasha, and Jing Yuan of course. Thank God, I didn't end up using M7 combo but this one worked for me. I didn't have any other good healers so I got Nat with me. I think this combo is pretty good too. Like this one user said, you just gotta keep JY alive :") I was on the brink of going crazy but I finally did it. I feel so relieved now.

I have no healers, the Jing yuan they give me has only 2100 HP even at lvl 58 and I only have lvl 60 Dr ratio, traveler, Clara and Robin. This is hard even with 5* artifacts and the crushing an ant with the weight of a star kills him off
Something is wrong with mine. Every time I try to use Jing Yuan(Trial), Louca, Kafka and Sampo, it just stays on a stunned Jing Yuan and doesn't advance combat after it reaches Phase 2.
I just wanted to start playing again after a few months and then I got to this boss. As a f2p with unbuilt characters I just can’t do it. I just hate turn based combat, but the story of the game is good.
I’m F2P and she’s a pain. Also, that team you have I don’t have and my characters are only level 60 😔 I missed a couple of events with nice rewards that I could I have gotten but didn’t cause that story boss is just ridiculous
This boss is impossible if you’re at trailblazer 34. Unlike in Genshin, it’s practically impossible to defeat level 76 phantylia so there is no speedrunning the story.
Is there any way to defeat this level 76 brute at trailblaze 34? Why does Honkai allow you to challenge them so early on to your rank if your max character level is 50 at that level.
So i used my original team with only bailu I didn't Even get halfway through the secomd phase then i tried it by replacing with sampo,bailu, and lynx. Bailu and lynx for the heal sampo for the wind break and ive gotten hhalfway past phase three than my original team (im still an f2p)

I thiught that I'm the pnly one who struggled with this 😂😂 I thought my character building was bad, because after trying it twice, Jing Yuan always died in final phase 😢😢. The truth is everyone feels the same 😅 After I read, I will build Natasha and change mc to fire mc. My original team actually Yq, Physical mc, himeko, and march. Because we have to use jing yuan, at first I changed march into jing yuan, and then changed physical mc, and in the last tried I changed himeko.
The way I see it the only way I can beat her is to slave away getting bad relics and 5 star characters that I can't get anymore. Thanks for the motivation to uninstall 👍

I just beat it while my healer has 2.6k life. No clue why every video I watch people got much more hp than me. I'm Lv60 with the best stuff I got. Light Cone maxed, good light cones for them as well.
@@NJMH_Gaming no, in the context of Gacha games a F2P build means that you use characters that are easy to obtain or are given to you through the story. Featured 5 stars are in no way a F2P build just because YOU didn’t spend money for them
Im using dr ratio, qingque, acheron, and huohuo at lvl 60, they die extremely fast, i have good 5 star on set relics yet the damage is too high for them to sustain, i have gepard but he doesnt do much either :(

I'm trailblaze level 28 I think and have Natasha and gepard on my team, who are level 40 and don't do much damage because I don't have proper stuff for them so they can't do much damage. Same with my Dr.ratio and danheng IL....any advice on how I can make them stronger??
You have the among the best characters in the game. So give Gepard with max DEF, natasha max HP, Dan IL with Imaginary Set (or recommeded by the game).

One piece of advice is bring natasha, her heal can cleanse the hp reduction. Same with luocha his heal also cleanses the hp reduction

You need a healer/shielder. In case you do the 2nd phase, the 3rd phase is even more hard to finsish.

My team was Fire Trailblazer level 50 , Jing Yuan ( trial version) level 58 , sushang level 50 , luocha level 60 .. Don't have much relics upgraded and decent traces .. Most of the battle just focus on keeping yourself alive and damage will be happening as you progress through your ultimate or aoe or imbibitor lunae .. @@hannaIVI Try to target branches first ( the skill points one ) and if you have well build characters it will make much easier and if you have gepard or luocha it will make it much easier. If not then try with 2 sustains and drag the fight long and deal damage with jing and IL .. It might help !!
Jing Yuan really drags this.. he's the only one that is easily killed in the team. I still can't beat her because he always fail to be alive barely on round ine

This boss is not that hard, BUT im not able to change my party. At first, i didn't use a healer because my Natasha is too weak. But after i got Lynx, i want to use her as a healer, BUT I CANT CHANGE THE PARTY! 😭😭

You’ve probably already defeated this boss seeing as this comment was made three months ago, but in case you haven’t, I’m in the exact same boat as you LOL (except I also use Dr Ratio). I’m gonna try using Fire MC and March for defense focus since a lot of comments talked about that so I advise you to do the same. I’ll have Jing Yuan and Ratio as DPS but Dan Heng will do just fine. Good luck!
Just defeated the boss. I used Fire MC, March 7th, Dr. Ratio and Jing Yuan. For your case use Dan Heng in replacement of Ratio. Have March shield characters every turn so they can survive Phantylia’s attacks, especially Jing Yuan, and hit the lotuses first as the video suggests :)
I beat her after two tries. I used Jing Yuan (Trial), Fire MC Lv.50, Bailu Lv.40, and March Lv.40. Bailu is quite helpful in restoring hp, and march as a shield. I was greatly helped by the comments here, I had doubts about losing because I don't have luocha and natasha is still at a low level.

Lynx
Jing Yuan (Trial ofc)
Apparently what I did is just cycle with everyone in every phase. I let DH target the flower to recover skill points since his skill is enough to break the flowers and possibly kill them with the DoT.
Yukong is just cycling from skill to basic either the flowers or Phantylia to skill and ult (if available)
Lynx heals anyone whenever it is needed.
And King Yuan slams Phantylia alone, I should let the man destroy his enemy lol
In the second phase, all the same except DH will now target Phantylia whenever the flowers are dead or will just be killed by IL. Yukong instead shoots Phantylia since I can't break flowers anyways. Meanwhile Lynx will use ult when everyone is para siphoned, and Jing Yuan stays the same.
In the last, I just let all things go and keep everyone alive, until halfway 3rd Phase, Dan Heng died and left with low hp Yukong. Pretty much in the last fight, Phantylia is like 15% and my Lynx died lol, and then Yukong used her final ult before she died. Then I ended it with Jing Yuan ult and follow up with seriously low health lmao.
What’s painful about this is I was in the third stage with her having only 7 health, my healer was one stage late to heal Jing Yuan.
Tip, keep your Jing Yuan and healer dam alive having your main alive as a side quest and with just have the last character being someone whose damage amount is good, but it doesn’t really matter as I assume your main is already the strongest in your team.

i literally just used jing Yuan (obviously), March 7th, Lynx and Natasha. Just use them to keep Jing Yuan alive. Try not to use Natasha’s alt unless you know a big damage thing is coming. Don’t pay attention to the flower things either.

I shouldn't have done the equillibrium mission before doing this boss fight and now i'm struggling. I'm at equillibrium lvl 6 now and most of my characters are lvl 60-75. Only DH and DH•IL are lvl 80😂

It just kinda sucks because I gotta grind so much to level march and Natasha up because my team focuses purely on AOE damage and every.single.time I get her down to 1% HP on the final phase and she kills the trail character which means I lose. And then I spent hours grinding to trailblazer level 30 so I could upgrade the team to level 50 and such, guess what? The boss changed from recommended level 40, to recommended level 50. And now I do even WORSE because of it. It just sucks because Ive grinded so much just to be met with more grinding since apparently I have to have a healing/defense team to beat her.

Being able to clear the game with free characters seems like it would be a bigger flex. Using limited 5 stars feels like you're playing the game on easy mode. And the trailblazer is technically a 5 star characters so gotta give him/her more credit. No other character can switch between paths so it's pretty neat that they can do that.

I made it to the third phase with trial Jing Yuan, Kafka, Bronya, and Natasha, but well they couldn't make it past third phase lmaoo this is like, what, my 10+ try? I saw a comment using Natasha and M7, since I don't have much preservation character other than MC and M7, will definitely try that combo.. wish me luck. :')
update: I defeated Phantylia with MC preservation, Bronya, and Natasha, and Jing Yuan of course. Thank God, I didn't end up using M7 combo but this one worked for me. I didn't have any other good healers so I got Nat with me. I think this combo is pretty good too. Like this one user said, you just gotta keep JY alive :") I was on the brink of going crazy but I finally did it. I feel so relieved now.
16th try here… gave up lol. after a little while I got so frustrated because I put March/Natasha on my team and still died. 😢

I have no healers, the Jing yuan they give me has only 2100 HP even at lvl 58 and I only have lvl 60 Dr ratio, traveler, Clara and Robin. This is hard even with 5* artifacts and the crushing an ant with the weight of a star kills him off
What about Lynx and Natasha
If you want to win easily, focus on defense and bring March 7 to the team. Her defense buff and cc ult is too good for surviving the boss bursts.

Something is wrong with mine. Every time I try to use Jing Yuan(Trial), Louca, Kafka and Sampo, it just stays on a stunned Jing Yuan and doesn't advance combat after it reaches Phase 2.

I just wanted to start playing again after a few months and then I got to this boss. As a f2p with unbuilt characters I just can’t do it. I just hate turn based combat, but the story of the game is good.

I’m F2P and she’s a pain. Also, that team you have I don’t have and my characters are only level 60 😔 I missed a couple of events with nice rewards that I could I have gotten but didn’t cause that story boss is just ridiculous

I'm using gepard, natasha, dr ratio, lvl 55. Gepard basically protect my teams, even natasha heal is not required 😅
This boss is impossible if you’re at trailblazer 34. Unlike in Genshin, it’s practically impossible to defeat level 76 phantylia so there is no speedrunning the story.
Yup at this level not possible. Take your time and build your team.
Is there any way to defeat this level 76 brute at trailblaze 34? Why does Honkai allow you to challenge them so early on to your rank if your max character level is 50 at that level.
You can skip the boss and keep playing other quests. and fight boss later
So i used my original team with only bailu I didn't Even get halfway through the secomd phase then i tried it by replacing with sampo,bailu, and lynx. Bailu and lynx for the heal sampo for the wind break and ive gotten hhalfway past phase three than my original team (im still an f2p)

I thiught that I'm the pnly one who struggled with this 😂😂 I thought my character building was bad, because after trying it twice, Jing Yuan always died in final phase 😢😢. The truth is everyone feels the same 😅 After I read, I will build Natasha and change mc to fire mc. My original team actually Yq, Physical mc, himeko, and march. Because we have to use jing yuan, at first I changed march into jing yuan, and then changed physical mc, and in the last tried I changed himeko.

I just beat it while my healer has 2.6k life. No clue why every video I watch people got much more hp than me. I'm Lv60 with the best stuff I got. Light Cone maxed, good light cones for them as well.

Im using dr ratio, qingque, acheron, and huohuo at lvl 60, they die extremely fast, i have good 5 star on set relics yet the damage is too high for them to sustain, i have gepard but he doesnt do much either :(
give Gep max DEF and add Natasha in your team as well and give her max HP. No need to use 3 DPS in your team. Add support to help them sustain.
Man this boss is so tough for me i can get past her first form easy but her second for i get past her with only three characters alive and then she kills the third one as soon as she uses her move im trying with bailu dan heng and sampo only other five star i have is jingliu

You have the among the best characters in the game. So give Gepard with max DEF, natasha max HP, Dan IL with Imaginary Set (or recommeded by the game).
