I just use a bar soap on my body for the first wash. Then a body wash for the second and third wash. For the punani area, I also like to use dove soap because it isn’t as harsh as other soaps. Idk why but I wash my face at the sink. I also prefer using a wash towel/rag because I feel like it’s more rough compared to a loofa. Great vid Kendra
I go to bed with a body mist. Not a perfume
As do I. A light fragrance makes me feel so good before bedtime.
African Sponges are the best. Never use wash cloths anymore. You can order them on amazon or Etsy. Perfect for exfoliating.

UkNaturalHair yes it’s rough at first but eventually it gets softer. It’s just way better than a wash rag. Add some dr. Bronners soap and you will feel super clean! It’s exfoliating and washing at the same time!
Lol when you said “who uses one body wash?” I silently raised my hand lol. I usually use dove but I’ve been using the new olay body washes. I’m not very experimental when it comes to my body washes I’m boring lol whatever works I stick with it.
Lol girl I have to have multiple if I keep using the same scent for a long time it makes me sick i currently have over 10body washes around my tub 🛀

There's 100% nothing wrong with using one shower soap. Soap is soap. The rest is marketing to make money. Change it up, keep it simple, neither is wrong by any means.

Perfume is a leaving the house only prep for me now. I used to spray it on before bed, but a few years ago I stopped. My body wash is scented, my lotions are scented, and my deodorant has a scent, plus I be lighting candles or using a room spray it was just a lot of smells going on in my room for me to add perfume into the mix 😅.
I really enjoy the Honey Pot wash, especially since it's been super hot and I sweat like crazy, especially down below. I actually just pump it out and use my non dominant hand to apply it to the outside and that works best for me ----plus i clean my hands right before and after. I only use loofahs or exfoliating wash cloths on my body now bc they get me cleaner (wash rags are reserved for just my face).
Recently , I started exfoliating before I wash with body wash because my chest and underarms get dry and cracked so easy and it has made the biggest difference on how my skin feels vs when I would exfoliate after washing.
Do you use a chemical or physical exfoliant (where you saw a difference)?
@@tiannatubbs6915 I personally use only physical exfoliators on my body----i do either or on my face . I do know they make chemical exfoliators for the body and I may try one out one day

I use the honey pot feminine washes and let me tell you, they’ve changed my life! Omg! Life changing! I also use their boric acid suppositories after I have my menstrual cycle to bring my vagina’s ph back into alignment and that product is sooo so so so good! It makes my vagina feel refreshed on the inside and I literally don’t have a problem with getting BV or yeast infections anymore since I’ve started using them. I use a bar soap from 22nd Century Natural woman first to wash my body and then I use Lush’s Rose Jam shower gel (if you’ve never used this shower gel, you’re definitely missing out) I use a rose face bar from 22nd Century Natural Woman as well. For moisturized skin I use Elle Vie Shea oil on my body and that’s it! All products that I mentioned are from black owned companies except Lush.
Organic everything! The way to go!!!

I thought i was the only one that used the dove sensitive for the last parts! And I also use the dove and Olay body wash for the rest of my body, but recently I've been using the bath and body works aromatherapy specifically reset and revive interchangeably on my body, they smell so good and they don't dry out my skin like their regular shower gels
I use 2 different bar soaps and 1 body wash. I use a Dial gold bar soap for my first wash. I follow up with A Dove bar soap and then I use a body wash for my third wash. I also use a Tree Hut scrub once a week. I exfoliate after I shave.
I keep dial gold bar in my house. I got it from my grandma. I feel so clean after I use it.

DIAL IS ESSENTIAL THEN THE UNSCENTED PH BALANCED FEMININE WITH THE BIG GIRLS. We can get on with the rest of the fancy fresh now. 🥰

❤️I always wear fragrance to bed…I feel incomplete without it. Growing up I would see my grandmother, my mother and my sisters put fragrance to go to bed, and I would wonder why. But as I got older I realize that not only I smell good, but I also feel good. Nice, clean, sweet, and fresh. And in the morning when I get I still smell oh so nice and my bed linens smells lovely.😍🥰

I’ve been going to bed with perfume since I was in middle school & I’m 32 now so yes I was prissy as a kid😂😂 I have two older sisters and my mom was extra so I got it from them 💁🏽♀️ & now my daughter does it,she’s 4 & prissy like her mommy was. I buy her the bath & body works perfumes though,something mild but still smells good. I feel bad for my husband though ,both of his girls are perfume obsessed 😂😂😂

@@shonda79able I use the unscented one/ baby one in the light blue packaging just make sure you dilute it with water because it is a very strong soap on its own.
@@shonda79able If you’re super sensitive or you want to play it safe, the unscented/baby one is best. Personally, the rose one works perfectly for me.

I use 2 body washes in the shower, usually. I have one with little beads for after I workout, a feminine one for my sensitive areas, and a really fragrant one for every once in awhile. Also an in-shower lotion right before I pat myself dry. Very hydrating. Especially for winter.

Thanks to you and Kelsey, I've been addicted to Tree Hut body scrubs. I try a new one every chance I get. My current fav is the bohemian escape with turmeric. Now I need to try the shaving oil.
I use 2 body washes especially when I’m washing my hair. I’ll use a cleansing gel type wash first. Then exfoliate with a tree hut scrub or I’ll use exfoliating gloves. Then I’ll focus on my hair. Then I’ll go in with a shower oil cleanser or a dove bar or just something really moisturizing. That way back ache can stay at bay after rinsing my hair conditioners. I also always wait to shave after I’ve exfoliated.
The difference between men’s and women’s products most times with drugstore brands such as dove is color and scent. If you look at ingredients they are essentially the same

Love the honey pot feminine wash and the sensitive dove. I have been obsessed with exfoliating towels with my final wash with Olay over the puffs for my KP.
I like to use the sugar scrub with coconut oil! Keeps my skin super soft while exfoliating!

I also like caress burnt brown sugar body wash as well. It’s nice! I also have Aveeno calming lavender in my shower as well. I loved the idea of having a baby cloth for my private lol. I always use a separate cloth for down there but never a baby one so I ordered one off amazon today. I do notice some slight irritations down south so baby the baby cloths would help, thanks for that tip in the video love!
I use unscented baby body wash.... aquaphor baby for my lady friend.
I'm embarrassed to say that when I shower before work, I don't put on lotion. So this body conditioner might save my life. Thank you Kendra!

I don't spray perfume but I do spray whatever Bath & Body Works mist that I have on hand. Currently using their Beach mist. It makes me feel like I'm on vacation at the beach since I haven't been able to go due to quarantine.

Yes, love the sensitive dove. I will add the men’s body wash to my list. I use the sensitive Honeypot. Love it! You must try it. Also, try the luvscrub. I have used that to shower with and it leaves my skin so soft. I use different body washes too.🙋🏾♀️I like to change up my body washes & sugar scrubs. Yes, I love the tree hut scrubs....they are bomb!

I like Versace Woman perfume for bedtime. It has a soft powdery sent that hints of mild rose petals. My favorite man grabbed me, inhaled & told me how great that smells. Thanks for all the great info that you shared.
The Tree Hut shaving oil leaves me skin so soft! It doesn’t give me a close shave though. I will try the Gillette razor.

If you want a lotion that matches the scent of the dove pomegranate and lemon verbena body wash then get the hempz tart and creamy lotion. It’s pomegranate scented and it’s so so good. I love their body sprays too. Also look into the cake beauty body care my fav is their milk made scent. They have a wash, cream and a scrub. They have two more scents and I have those but milk made is my fav.

You're not the only 1 that uses more than 1 soap, my 1st wash I like to use black soap,, then scented body washes for the next 2 washes and I spray Bath and Body works on my bed clothes
Nice! Like reviews like this. I will try the Dove for men. I bathe at night and shower in the morning. The razor I will not use too harsh on my skin, I'll stick with the women razors, cause I don't shave that often but once a week. Dove products are the best. I use Caress and as for exfoliates I use the glove. The Tree Hut products are good. I don't put lotions, oils or perfumes on when I go to bed. I let the skin breath at night.
Queen v is a bar soap good for the vag area also.....it’s made with organic ingredients.
I’ve always gone to bed with perfume or a nice scented body oil. It’s refreshing when your fresh out the shower & you smell good & just pamper yourself before bed ! Makes you sleep so much better
Great video! I love applying scents before bed mostly BBW body mist but sometimes a light perfume. My husband loves it to he always snuggles me and smells me at night and when he wakes up. He breaths me in and that's feels so nice.

I use seventh generation mandarin & yuzu scent and for my bath I use dr. Teals smoothe & sleep with lavender foaming bath it’s so good and my scrub is tree hut Shea sugar scrub with tropical mango it smells so good and my skin is super silky afterwards.

It is funny that you mentioned the baby shampoo. That is what I use for my lady parts. I use Baby Magic tho. I feel it leave my skin the softest. I also use perfume. But, I don't have a bed time perfume. I like that it triggers your brain for sleep. I use whatever samples I get or buy from Sephora. I have a sample dish on my night stand. I think you and your sister got me into Dove wash and soaps. I was a Caress girl before. I use
Laura Mercier Body Butter and Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil for my moister combo. I have never used a body conditioner. That will be my next try. Thanks for the video.

If you are interested in venturing out to different razors, I switched to a safety razor and sis… I’m NEVER going back. It seems intimidating because you’re using an actual blade to shave with but it’s REALLY easy. The closeness of the shave is unparalleled. I bought mine years ago so I forget the brand but 'OUI the People’ is a great black woman owned company.
I don’t go to bed wearing perfume but now I want to. Lol

@Stephanie Daniels. There’s nothing like taking the perfect shower. When you use the right body care system. I also spray perfume and a good lip moisturizer.
I was a loyal customer of Dove body care for a while then I turned 30 and my body did a huge change; all of sudden my skin felt really dry and irritable. I ended up having to switch to all natural body bars and its a game changer ! If the natural body bars contains silk you're skin will feel baby bottom soft! This change recently happened within the past 3 months so I'm still in the awe stage of using natural bars but it's definitely more costly than dove.
DOVE is the absolute BEST❤️!!!! Been using it forever the only soap I can use on my her down there. I have to try the baby cloths great idea!!!!

Especially the men’s dove soap because since becoming a mom my body odor has changed, which I plan to talk about on my channel! Hi Kendra! Love you! Love your hair too. Your curls are poppin! My mom put me on to the Equate brand of Feminine wash, the odor blocking one. I like it bc it works well, so I’ve been using that. It’s very affordable too. FYI, yes girl, I’m definitely going to try most of these products especially the dove soap and body oils.
Great video! I use all these products in my shower, except the body conditioner. The bar soap in the morning, and the liquid soap in the evening. I shower twice a day by the way😀. I just love the Olay body liquid soap. More skin care videos please.
@TheGlamTwinz have you tried the new Tree Hut Scrub Cotton Candy Shea Sugar Scrub it’s smells so good I use it once a week I have sensitive skin so thats why I use it sparingly.
Honey pot is really good! From pads to fem wash 🙌🏾 their in my holygrails now! You have to try Schick hydro silk5 trim style razor. Dramatic pause....Its life changing youll never buy another mens razor& I the “trim” feature 🗣 GAME CHANGER.
I like that razor too. I’m weird, and found it’s also nice for exfoliating my soles. And once I tried turning it on ✨I go with Venus embrace for legs still.

I always have multiple body washes. I like Dove because it so thick and it last so long.the lime coconut body scrub scent is the best.
I love the perfume Tocca Maya. I also agree with you that men's razors are game changer for us. I've only used the Bevel razor.

Also I love the bioderma shower oil. They have bioderma in Walgreens now. Check it out.
I use the aveeno skin relief moisturizing body wash in fragrance free all over and the clinique acne solutions face and body bar on my acne prone body areas because that is also fragrance free. I have super sensitive skin and can never use anything with artificial fragrance in it.
