- Watch this O Gauge exhibition favourite, The Summit by The Yeovil MRG.
This stunning exhibition favourite is based on Ails Gill on the Settle and Carlisle line. It's an O Gauge model railway by the Yeovil MRG that takes 10 members 5 hours to put together at each exhibition.
I love this trains in the landscape type of modelling, what a fantastic layout this is a credit to all involved 👍🏻
I love this trains in the landscape type of modelling...
One of the best Layouts i have ever seen!! Looks so fantastic, a great pleasure to watch the train running. Kind regards from Stuttgart, Germany. Björn
This illustrates how it is possible to follow a prototype without worrying about matching it. The scene has all the right "railroady" details to make it look like it could be Ais Gill, Shap, or Beattock, or any of many other British summits.
Superb model.
How on earth can anyone give this a thumbs down?
Because their suffering from jealousy because they missed some love in their lives. Let's pray for their souls.
Australians thumbs up
@@Tubemanjac Their souls or our souls? (sic)
I also have been lucky enough to see it in action. Absolutely stunning and a fantastic effort by the Yeovil MRG.
Fabulous. The detail and realism puts Waterman's layout to shame.
That is a great looking layout very insperational indeed.
Lovely layout, saw it at Warley at the NEC a couple of years ago. Great way to watch the trains go by
I was fortunate enought to see this layout at the 2018 East Anglian exhibition, and it's every bit as impressive as it looks.
Excelent model railway video. Quality in every detail.
Just beautiful...great modelling !
Looks fabulous!
I have seen photos of how this was constructed, innovative for an exhibition layout "Less is much more"
I've seen it in action on several occasions and have video of my Grandson operating it, aged 9. (he's good, trust me)
What a most wonderful layout; great ideas to borrow for my own future; thank you and regards from Spain
Very awesome line! They can definitely be proud of that!
Great layout!!! It’s wonderful to see how you’ve got so many different trains running on it. For me, it’s a bit advanced, but I’m going to be creating Ongar Station on the Epping Ongar heritage railway.
A lovely layout and a credit to you all .
That is incredible.
I love O gauge.
Excellent!
But no smoke or steam
It doesn't look right to have smoke or steam because the effects don't scale well to models.
@@Laurellien they can do most times
@@Laurellien True, but sometimes it's the effort we appreciate, not the result.
@@abloogywoogywoo I don't think you can accuse them of a lack of effort.
@@Laurellien I didn't.
