I’m a fit 6’2” 195 lbs guy who is comfortable with firearms. At the same time, I’m slowly trying to introduce my petite girlfriend to firearms for the first time because I know I won’t be able to be there for her in every single situation. I absolutely LOVE this entire concept (including learning in baby steps) and have suggested it to her. Hopefully it will help get her over the hump and, eventually, comfortable with firearms to the point where she will be able to confidently defend herself should the worst case scenario ever happen.
As I look at Lina, now, I see a mature woman who truly cares about the safety of others. There’s probably no one better, especially for women, teaching them how to be safe and prepared especially in today’s world. Congratulations on ROSE Lina!
I’ve followed the Miculek family for years and can say I can’t think of a better person to lead the ladies into gun ownership fold. Congrats, things are looking Rosy!
I am a guy who has not trained with his firearm in a while. I wanted to re-watch the Lena videos I used in the past and ran into this. It is a good day.
You are frickin awesome Lena. Thank you for helping women become more confident in self protection. As a man with a daughter, that is really important work!
Thank you and Sig for doing this. I am a professional instructor. As a guy, I have been privileged to instruct many women, but I know that some women would prefer to be instructed by women. This is a good thing.
I started watching this video and based on Lena’s emotion, I thought something bad happened ~ only to continue watching and realize those were tears of joy and being proud of all those you help! Wonderful work! What a huge positive impact to the community!
God bless you! Your care, concern and passion for others safety is heart warming. I'm a law enforcement Officer/Chief and a huge fan. You are an inspiration for men and women during these dark and challenging times. Keep up the great work and soldier on.
My wife is from China. Obviously she's never been around guns. After watching this video she wants to purchase the Rose and learn to shoot. 🎉 Thank you!!
I started watching Lena in late 2020 after I bought my first pew pew during Covid. I started with -Must have drills before going to range and the 5 tips for first time shooters. I still practice dry fire at home. I really enjoy you and your dad’s videos.
Lena, you are one of the most sincere and kind young women to ever grace the firearms world. Your beauty, both inside and out exudes, care, kindness, and intelligence. You keep doing you and maybe other young women will follow such an inspiration.
As a father who taught my little girl to shoot pistols when she was just five years old, she is now 26 and she just picked up a 9mm Rose which she LOVES. My daughter is such a fan of Lena and I am proud of her and cherish when she asks me when we can go shooting again. As someone who has followed Jerry for 30 years, I explained to my daughter that "Lena's Dad" is a pretty good shooter too......since getting a few pointers from his daughter. :)
My wife loves her P365 Rose XL. She actually wants to shoot it and carry it, which makes me feel more at peace when I can't be around her and our children. Thanks Sig and Lena
Some American marketing is so nakedly transparent. In the UK we're all terrified what might happen if our wives get into a firefight with the children in tow. (Oh dear, as an American I suppose you might actually believe that.) Literally the only British (any European?) people gripped with anxiety that their wife isn't carrying a gun are.... nobody? Big time criminals who've recently had a row with some other big time criminals perhaps? Likely they've got more to worry about for themselves, but we have vastly less shootings per person per year than the USA. It's all the guns, you can see the deterrent effect in the US stats. Not. Still if they really MUST start hyping up the need for protection caused by the huge number of guns floating around their country, I guess people trained to properly handle them is best. Accidental discharge could be a significant danger to the children and there a number of such cases every year. In Britain no children are injured or killed by finding their mum's gun or by her one mistake with it... because she doesn't have one.
@@artgreen6915 Aren't there a lot of knife crimes in the U.K. Plus the U.K. lately has been letting in a lot of those middle eastern and african people, some of which seem pretty shady. Having a gun is no different than having a fire extinguisher in your kitchen for example. It's a tool. A tool that you probably will never use and hope not to. But it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I think people love guns, I notice they seem to put a lot of them in movies and t.v. shows.
@@artgreen6915 You are an idiot. First off to address your most pressing matter, Child deaths in the U.S. related to Firearms are indeed mostly because of improper (and Illegal) storage of Firearms within the Home, when this happens, the Parents or whoever is responsible for the Firearm can look forwards to a lengthy prison term and a lifetime ban on their Firearm rights. Secondly, Guns are provably a deterrent of Violent Crime in the US, source; "According to the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) surveys conducted in the 1990s, there were more than 2.2 million defensive gun uses (DGUs) in the United States annually, implying that guns were used defensively by victims about 3.6 times as often as they were used offensively by criminals (Kleck and Gertz, 1995)." That not enough? how about another piece of research? "A 2013 National Research Council report concluded that studies on self-protective strategies consistently found that victims who used guns defensively had lower injury rates than those who used other strategies." Lastly, to think that "big time criminals" are the only Predatory people out there is outlandish, and shows just how sheltered you really are. Lena you are a good person not only in your involvement in producing such a perfect pistol for female shooters but your sharing with the many women your skills and ability so they may properly defend themselves should the situation presents itself. I used to enjoy competitive Tactical Pistol shooting for many years. I am a retired Special Agent with the USAF and specialized in Protective Services. I also taught firearms training and qualification training and volunteered my free time teaching Tactical Combat Pistol to those that were interested. I have also provided instruction to anyone who requested. I recently purchased the Rose P365 for my granddaughter’s 21st birthday and have used your training videos to get her familiarized and comfortable before going live fire. I’ve taught my two daughters to shoot when they were growing up and they are both excellent shooters with any firearm. Like you I believe in it and love to share and pass on what I know. Thank you for all that you do.
This is amazing! I’ve been shooting for about 4 years but love this whole concept that Lena and sig developed for woman. So many of my friends would love to purchase a gun and learn to shoot but are scared and feel intimidated. This is going to help so many people! Thanks Sig and Lena!
In a trip to Bass Pro just yesterday, I held the Rose for the first time. I was impressed by its weight for its size, the deep dovetail and several other features. This family is awesome. We live local and I have taken two classes with Lena’s mom, Kay. Does the Rose have a version without a manual safety?
Just purchased the Rose .380. Wanted a smaller gun than the huge 9mm I purchased years ago. I need a slightly longer grip, so I'll look for an extender, but man oh man it overall feels really comfy in my hand and the trigger pull is like butter. I'm excited about this new SIG.
Lena's passion is so strong for this. I'm proud of how much she has accomplished. I just can't trust SIG after they keep going off in holsters. I know every manufacturer has something that goes wrong at some point, I just can't afford to have that one.
Thank U for ur videos & all of ur help. I have the 9 mm Rose, but recently found out I can't use TMJ ammo & then further, I can't use the Blazer FMJ I was using also because of the compensator. Could U please help us to learn what kind of ammo we can use with it for both target practice & self defense. Thank U so much. I know I'm not the only one because I recently joined a gun club for women & they've been using the wrong ammo too.
Hey Lena can you tell Sig Sauer to make a Rose edition for men? For some reason they don't make the P365XL Specter Comp w/ manual safety unless it"s the Rose model. I guess Sig thinks only women use manual safeties? If you read the forums a lot of dudes buy the Rose because it's the only one with a safety lol
Just purchased this today, and I am now a proud owner of the Rose Sig Sauer. I bought this gun today in order to feel more confident with a firearm. Lena Miculek is truly an inspiration, and I am proud to support her vision 🩷
I aint never owned a safe before, let alone a gun safe... Just might put my weeeed there. 😊✌ Seriously though, awesome promo. Probably one of the verry best marketing strategies that doesn't come off as self centered.
Going forward there should be a Rose AR15 and Shotgun. My lady went the other way. She's a veteran and knew rifles. I had to teach her how to shoot pistols, next is shotgun. Despite trying every pistol in my collection and a bunch of range rented guns she chose the Springfield Hellcat. To my fellow husbands, brothers, father's, and boyfriends out there please STOP telling ladies what gun they need based on your personal preference, you're not helping. Take her to the range, get her a safety class and shooting class and then they her a bunch of different guns to try. Let her choose. When we were trying out pistols I noticed the Hellcat jumped around on her more yet she could not the target and even transition better with it. Makes no sense but it works for her and that's what matters. While on that topic I know this is geared towards women but even with 40+ years of shooting experience I'd be overjoyed to learn from Lena.
Because she remembers the individuals that she helped to develop competency in defending themselves and she is proud to have helped them and knows that she gave them quality tools to empower them and help them build their confidence and skills and independence and self sufficiency going forward in life Because Lena is a big sweetheart just like her Dad Just like how some people cry when their kids get confirmed in church or graduate college or how a coach cries when their players win state or professors cry when their students win the national debate competition Because weapons are part of her religion
