  • Ma nouvelle bande dessinée autobiographique REPLAY est maintenant en librairie ! www.jordanmechner.com/fr/book...
My new graphic memoir REPLAY is now available in French! English edition can be pre-ordered at jordanmechner.com/books/replay/
REPLAY is the story of my life making video games, and my father's and grandfather's stories as refugees in 20th century Europe.
"A beautiful, moving graphic novel... Replay is a masterclass of narrative structure, expertly weaving multiple timelines, creating an emotional experience that is more powerful than its individual tales. I can't recommend it enough." - Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us
« Une saga familiale captivante et touchante qui traverse le siècle. » - Guy Delisle, auteur de Pyongyang

When I was about 8 years old, back in Argentina, in 1991, my father introduced me to Prince of Persia in our 1st computer (a monochrome PC XT, without a hard drive). My father and I would spend hours trying to beat this amazing game. I was so glad when they did the Sands of time trilogy, another masterpiece as well. I hope this book gets released in spanish so I can give it as a present to my father. Thank you for all the good memories Jordan!

I just came across this, I think I've got something new for the reading list!
I'll trade that new entry onto my Next Reads for a recommendation of my own; it's called Tetris: The Games People Play by Box Brown, which is the illustrated story of the sweat, intrigue and espionage it took to get Alexey's masterwork out of Elorg and over the barbed wire fence of the Soviet Union, as well as just some fun meditations on why man created games in general.

That's the peril of cliffhanger endings: I wrote PoP2 thinking there was going to be a PoP3… but then there wasn't. (PoP3D doesn't count.) In that never-written third game, the Old Witch would have been the primary antagonist.
ANY CHANCE THAT YOU MIGHT JUST WRITE AND MAKE POP3 CONTINUATION.
THE THIRD STORY OF ORIGINAL PRINCE OF PERSIA

That looks awesome! Congrats on your memoir and you amazing career. I’ve enjoyed all your work since first seeing a demo of Prince of a Persia at my local Radio Shack as a kid and hoping I would get that game for Christmas (spoiler alert: I did!)
