Jack would transcribe the documents, then started taking pictures of them. It only leaked to the larger internet after a number of months when ANOTHER person from that group posted them in the MC server to win an argument.
The funny thing is that leaking something on a Minecraft forum is unironically one of the best ways to have a leak be seen by a lot of people before it's "disappeared"

Little was learnt from them (with most reporting focusing on how pointless the leakers reasons for leaking were). As a War Thunder player, I can confirm that we are used to small classified details leaking from angry tank nerds. To clarify this, however, the leak was originally on a SERVER called Thug Shaker Central for fans of gaming, guns, and Oxide. Jack would transcribe the documents, then started taking pictures of them. It only leaked to the larger internet after a number of months when ANOTHER person from that group posted them in the MC server to win an argument.

Because of this, the actual military (or retired) personnel that play the game often get angry at how a tank or plane doesn't perform 100% realistic to the combat vehicle they were in. Most recent case was a certain type of Missile having it's information leaked for the F-16 (still in service) because someone was angry that the in game version doesn't carry the type of missile that they sourced from some government classified documents
