Very useful information for all the fast bowlers. I must confess, I trained under number of coaches in New Delhi some 20 years back but no one taught me this technique of measuring ones run up. Coach Ramesh is a blessing for the young cricketers out there. I am still passionate about fast bowling and would try to follow these basic techniques in my corporate and club league matches. Thanks Coach !

I am a fast bowler playing for IIT DHARWAD cricket club and I always struggled with the runup issue. I often took short runup leading to excessive pressure on my shoulder leading to excessive pain. Now I think I have found the best way to choose a runup length. Lots of love and respect to Coach sir.

Extremely good video. This helped me a lot to fix my bowling run-up and bowling action. Previously I was not concentrating on jumping from my left foot before bowling and that was causing a lot of pain in my inner thigh. As I wanted to bowl fast my thigh muscles were taking a lot of effort without jumping in the run-up before bowling. Now the pain in just not there at all. ❤

very helpful video. i always struggle in my run-up. sometimes my run up is long, sometimes short. this causes difficulty to gain speed near the jump. this video helped me a lot.

I used to bowl fast earlier but now I'm not able to bowl that fast, and my left foot's ankle hurts soo Much after I complete my action
For injury consult a specialist because ankle problem is a serious matter. As far speed decrease is concerned do mental rehearsal and visualization drills in which you are bowling at your maximum pace

I have copied the run up's from the legendary bowler Hon. Andy Robert and got lots of success in my cricket career. But due to my height 5'6" I left paying and focused on my studies. I did Ph.d in chemistry from HBTI Kanpur, but still I love cricket and use to play daily with my grandchildren. I was also a very good batsman and fielder too. In batting I copied the Sir Vivian Richards and in fielding I copied Sir Eknath Solkar. Played with many legendary cricketer's of the world and they praised me a lot. Now I am 64 years old person and use to play only to keep fit myself.
Anyway I am satisfied with my career in science and technology. In our time there was no or very little amount was paid to cricketer's.
I am a nephew of cricket legend Shri Ramesh Saxena ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
