I'm Carolyn and I'm going through this very same thing. The first twenty five years I never had any UTI's. These past five years h😢ave been pure hell! I've been in and out of the hospital and I'm so tired of it. The bladder spasms are just as worse! My daughter researched for other paraplegics that have the same problems and she found you and a few others dealing with this one of those many times I have been in the hospital. I will try same of the ideas I've heard other from other paraplegics and and the comments...only the comments that makes since to me! 😊

I use D mannose powder and I have not had a UTI in over 7 years now...I self cath myself too ...I went from having them every 2 weeks to not had any for years now since starting taking d mannose powder...I highly recommend it!!! you can get it without a prescription..both online or at vitamin shops...get the plain d mannose with nothing added to it..

Have you tried Botox in the bladder?

I take the medication you were talking about. It does seem to help but it is definitely not a cure. I have been on it a little over a year and have not noticed any side effects.

Great video! I have a Superpurtic Catheter an I keep catching UTI's every 3months! I'm tired of this! What's the medication your taking an does it really work to help you prevent UTI's?

Why the stunt and the wheelies?
I have been catheterizing myself for decades already, and I can't remember when the last time was that I've had to deal with a UTI.

@@wheelchairryder7278 Hello Wheelchair Ryder Crosby, how are you doing my brother? 😊😊😊😊 I like your wheelchair stunts. Thank you for sharing your information about the Urinary Tract Infection. Stay strong and healthy. Hey Ryder Crosby always drink plenty of water to prevent kidney disease, bacteria spreading to your bladder. Wash your hands when using your catheter. God bless you Ryder. Stay hydrated. Take care my friend. Best friends as always from PaulLaw.😊😊😊😊

Hi it has been a year since you post this video and i hope you feel better now. I am a medical doctor and want to advise you that sometomes being over clean can cause a damage to original microbiologic structure of your skin and that may be the cause of frequent UTI s. To be more clear may be just changing the soap that you wash your hands your body makes the difference. I am not saying that the most expensive is the right one. Even using less soap or shower gel can be helpful. May be using some moustriser on your hand and skin can help protecting your original skin barrier and helps your immune ssystem to compete better.
