Nalungkot ako sinira nila yung dating pampang ng Sabang para gawing cemento. Ano gagawin nila dyan highway? If you look at the pictures of old Sabang parang Boracay yung ganda ng buhangin dyan. Ano yung rason bakit nila tinabunan yung white sand?
When I was growing up Sabang was all sand and the structures were all sustainable kubo and huts. Everything looked natural and there were a lot of coconut trees by the shore. When businesses and concrete structures started encroaching closer and closer to the shore, that is when Sabang started to look dirty and the buildings just kept getting built too close to each other. Everyone just built on top of each other and side-by-side. It looks very ugly now. The government had to probably cement the beachfront to prevent further structures from being built to the shore. If you noticed there were already existing cemented structures that were too close to the shore while the cameraman was walking around Sabang beachfront.
