its a naked handle why heat it at all? hot water goes directly through the basket and doesnt technically touch the handle and there are no spouts.

Whats the point of preheating the machine with no portafilter on? Great video

Preheating the E61 head to 92 degree need time. the portafilter place on top of the machine will heat up too.
