Great British Sewing Bee 2024 - A Tutorial - Flat vs Corded Piping (from Week 7)

Every week of this years Great British Sewing Bee I will be putting myself through one of the challenges from the episode whilst giving you a run down of my thoughts on the episode whilst that goes on.
This week during the pattern challenge they had to insert flat piping. So here I have gone through here how to insert flat and corded piping to show the differences between them and give some hints on how best to handle the insertions.

So excited abou tthis series. I don't think these colors pop against the linen though, making it harder to see.

Yeah sorry thats really good feedback I hadn't thought about that element. I tend to just grab from the scrap box for bits like this i'll may closer attention.
