Ooh what a Christmas treat today. Well done on all the preserves you made it must have taken quite a while! Merry Christmas looking forward to seeing all of those spring bulbs next year 🎄😉
Those crocus flower are the ones you get your Saffrons from. The stigma of these flowers are Saffrons. Dear that's one Awesome Christmas gift for yourself. Apart from cooking you can add to beauty products too 😉😍❤
Hi, here to listen to your voice and what to grow at a particular month of the year. No one on my allotment looks as good as you. Looking forward to seeing your produce, fails and successes, as it will help myself and others learn. Many thanks for sharing.
So many gourmet items you have created! What lovely gifts to give, and your cupboard must be brimming! You have such nice friends to give you some thoughtful presents! Happy holidays! 🌱😀🎄
I imagine your delicious gifts were well received. The robin art is just Beautiful, your robin's are much sweeter looking then the robins here in the states. I'd be happy to help plant bulbs if I lived near, I'll be looking for those in the 2019 videos as I'm working my way thru your channel.
Started following from the beginning of your RUclips journey and enjoyed all your videos this year, which in part have nudged me into getting my first allotment. Nothing grown yet as only got it in November but giving me plenty of time to get ready and plan for next spring. Have a very Merry Christmas and a great growing year in 2019.
Hi Katrina, love watching your allotment tours!! I am relatively new to gardening, so I enjoy seeing what you are able to achieve, and try to replicate in my own garden. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to grow next season. Have a wonderful Christmas and a very successful New Year!! 🎅🎅
Great update...you are inspiring me to try preserving this year... love the bark paths...I really need to do mine too! Best wishes for the new year 2019 xx😁
Lovely video you make a great Santa ha ha hat red top, most enjoyed your jars and bottles of goodies your friends and family will love there gifts,I make my own labels with sticky back paper stamp and cutter, great for all produce, I'm impressed you knew all things inside your jars.I couldn't trust that I would remember everything. So well done. Merry Christmas look forward to next video in Jan.Hope your jobs going well too.
Hey mate what a cracking video ..loving the idea of learning to make preserved fruit and chutney...ruhbarb vodie yummy I bet it tastes yummy ...well keep up the ace videos. I hope all is well with your new job 😀..
I love this video! There are so many good ideas for what to make with summer harvests that I never would have thought of. ❤ For your over-set jam, in America we have canned cranberry "sauce" for Thanksgiving Turkey that is quite solid also. Perhaps your rhubarb jam could be sliced onto meat like the cranberry.
Katrina, you are such a tonic. I love how you garden and use your produce. I was lucky to find your channel the same time you started last year. What a quick year that was. Looking forward to watching in 2019. Happy Christmas to you, hugs J 🎄☃️🎅🏻💚👍🏻🇮🇪
Your films have brightened up my days and inspired me in my cottage plot. I haven't got rhubarb vodka but have blackberry wine picked from the local marsh. Anyway, happy Xmas and keep the vids coming in 2019 and don't overdo your commendable new job. x
Hi Im new subs to your channel, what a lovely plot I love the woodland feel it has, im hoping to get my plot woodchipped this year . Great preserves happy new year
Hi Katrina, inspirational video, I especially like the preserves and Vodka. The poly tunnel you have looks very substantial and seems to be coping with the UK weather and winds. Having lost 2 so far to the wind, I was wondering if you could remember the name of the supplier. I have found mine has become a haven for our cats year round so am looking for yet another more robust type.
Oh what I'm growing, just picking peas, black current, strawberries, raspberry, of course potatoes, broccoli near end now last one to pick tomorrow, and some greens like spring onion, silverbeet, beets, a lot of things have been pulled in last couple of weeks due to dry ground and going to seed last of leeks, celery, ruby chard, kale, and noticed some of garlic too.But always got new things in glass house ready to be planted out each month eg second lot of lettuces, beets onion etc. So my ground doesn't stay bare for long.
Mmmmmm rhubarb jam!! Would I find these recipes on your blog?🙂Also get more chipped branches for your beds!!! Do British gardeners embrace the Back To Eden way of gardening? Newbie here, will go back to you first video, and catch up.
The weeds near the garlic looks like doc leaves, their roots go very deep & need to be removed whole or they tend to grow back, the longer they are left in the harder they are to remove.
Well Done with all your amazing harvesting and chutney’s 💕
You've done very good work, Katrina. The plot has come a long way.
Ooh what a Christmas treat today. Well done on all the preserves you made it must have taken quite a while! Merry Christmas looking forward to seeing all of those spring bulbs next year 🎄😉
They say a Robin is the spirit of a loved one of they come to you a lot. 💜 So very sweet. Love your fairytale garden.
Super impressive that you were able identify the preserves just by the colors!
