I really wish Capcom saw how much potential there is. Not just for a Movie or Series, but the chance to continue releasing more New Games of the Franchise. Not just collections, crossovers, or even Merch, A True Console Game.

Dr. Light send out Bombman to stop Metal Man which indicate that Dr. Light's robot masters are built for combat rather than industrial purpose like their original counterpart. The only thing I don't know is how tall is Metal Man. He might be human adult sized or the same height as this Bombman.
I'm refuting your second point. Bombman having enough power to stop Metalman doesn't necessary mean he's built for combat. He's *Bomb*man, and demolition work is a real industrial job

Not really bombman would be used for demolition or most likely for heavy labour such as in mines for blasting out areas yet as we know from the megaman universe they can be repurposed and reprogrammed for example metalman could work in metallurgy but equally be reprogrammed to be a nasty fighting robot.
Wily created Metal Man and it's a bit of a sticking point when Light says "Metal Man turned" when Metal Man wasn't his creation; Metal Man can't be turned when his purpose was specifically to aid in Wily's machinations. Metal Man was built for combat, but Bomb Man wasn't. The original Robot Masters were for industrial and scientific management; basically the same as how a chainsaw isn't meant for combat, yet it's amazing how effective it can be in combat. And, yes, some of the Robot Masters in Mega Man 2 were already built in Mega Man 1 (or at least in part); they were meant as the fall back if the first six were unsuccessful. A lot of the designs of the Mega Man 2 game were more combat geared towards combat and military endeavours than the first six (especially Flash Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, and Metal Man); it indicates that Wily had his own designs based off the work he and Light did together. As for the height, I'm a little peeved that Bomb Man was made THAT BIG! Guts Man: MAYBE, but the Robot Masters were designed to assist/replace vocations of humans, which kind of defeats the purpose when the guy sent to do the job can't fit through the door to the facility!
The only thing that sucks is that this episode was only 6 minutes long with the extra 2 minutes being credits. Some other episodes got 15 minutes or more. I hope this was just a random tease that isn't going anywhere but, instead, a teaser for a new Megaman project... Movie, perhaps?
