Trick is .....keep the slices of onions well spread on a dupatta in the balcony or terrace under bright sunlight.....water from onion will evaporate nicely......Then on hi flame just fry and remove....done instantly....preserve in zip pouches and stack them in freezer...6 months stock ready .Since I make biryani a lot of times.....Happy eating....

When there is sun it can be dried n fried n preserved. But one suggestion I keep it in thin cotton cloth or bag and that bag is kept in plastic zip pouch. Then direct plastic contact is avoided
