That's great news! I hope you enjoy it. I regret selling my one, I was over-concerned about the gap (as seen in the video), I should have just filled it but instead bought a transit which turned out to be a disaster in the end! Happy camping Nicky
@@KitchenMishap I part exchanged my dodgy and car with it. The dodge was too big and my husband was not keen on the 'project'. Sorry to hear about your disaster
I love this. It's a pity we don't have free overnight parking areas around the country as they do in the more civilised country of Japan which has at least 1,200 designated parking areas.
hi. did you manage to sell your van. my daughter and i would love one but as she is disabled and they don't do them for us on benifits we can only dream. hope you are enjoying your new van and when the bans are lifted you can take to the road again.
I would have designed it completely differently inside. Why those huge sofas are needed? The camper can carry 2 people, why a 12 people sofa inside that occupies almost the whole space?
I bought the whole vehicle including the back together second hand. The back is made by Romahome, formerly known as Island Plastics who used to make boats. They are/were based on the Isle of Wight, UK

Great idea, that thing, but i didnt find any results to this Vomer Home Pod. Would it be possible for you, to give me a more acurate Name ? Quick answer would be nice, and Great Video too!
Hi Nath, The company is/was called Romahome and they were/are based in the Isle of Wight, near Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. They were originally called Island Plastics back when they made fibreglass boats. I don't know the model name but I have seen people to refer to it as a pod. There is a Facebook group, something like "Romahome Owners" or similar, you could ask around on there. I hope you find one! The base vehicle is a Piaggio Porter more commonly known as a Daihatsu Hijet, and I think you can get these pods on a Suzuki Carry as well. Nigel
@@KitchenMishap Thanks for the Answer, indeed, i already bought a base model Piaggio Porter, and the only thing left, is to modify it into a one-person camping machine. So thank you again, for the quick response, and have a nice day!
I just bought one today 05 year though, great to see helpful video 😊

What a little beauty. If I lived closer I'd probably buy it I've been after a small one but haven't been able to find one.
I hope this cute little camper van found a good home. Love the video. ☺
This is much better than Peter Kay's Car Share.
