I added only 1/4 c sugar instead of 1/2 c. I also used only 3/4 c heavy cream, plus vanilla, fresh grated nutmeg, pinch of cinnamon& pinch of orange zest, altho idk how much flavor the orange zest will impart before straining,🤷🏻♀️☺️ we shall see. I'm making this recipe today, 🙏🏻Hoping to have it for dessert this evening after homemade pizzas!😊😊🙏🏻
Hi there. Actually your cooking is so good that we think that you should make one Spicy Chicken Tikka Cheese Sandwhich. That would be lovely. It is not necessary that you have to make it but you can try it I am sure that it will taste good. Once done post the video and then I will try to make it.
It shouldn’t have any holes in it. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw them. They are a sure sign of overcooking and they spoil the silky smooth texture baked custard is supposed to have. The best way to make this type of custard is in the oven sitting in a Bain Marie, which helps to stop overcooking. I love nutmeg so much I used more than half a large one on mine.
This is we called Vatlapam,,Indian and srilanka Muslim recipe....instead of milk we add coconut milk into it...the taste will amazing..

We call this egg custard. My mom taught us this and she used a little nutmeg to enhance the flavor. Great recipe.😋❤
