    Matteo, another great video! I am using the magnets for the first time, on my HG P402, with a Gmade Komodo Body. I didn't want the holes!
    I really like the MST shassis! I hope someday to be able to buy at least one... I want the CFX, because of all the room to install it the full interior!! 👍 This of course, costs more than the CMX. Gone as far as sanely possible on my cC01 chassis, both of them! The MST Chassis is just what I need.
    I really like the softness of the shocks from MST! Possibly for same reason you do. I like my springs to have a little compression - just sitting on the ground, not moving. Just like the full size ones!
    Thank you for doing these videos!!
    Carmine 🚂

    Good upgrade video for the MST. The shock set having a choice of springs makes that set so tune-able.

    Very detailed video with many nice tips for every car modeller! The magnetic holders I have never seen yet! Nice idea! Very nice wheels for Wrangler you have choosed! Fantastic instruction video you made! Congrats! Would be so nice to just show also your new and other models like HotShot or Blackfoot in similar way. To feel how the cars are hovering on their suspension on your table etc. I love for example your video with tuned Agrios, in time, where you are just placing the batteries in the model and whole monster truck is so nice hovering with the tuned quality Tamiya shocks! Fantastic moment which last a second, but I feel from that the mass and mechanical components of the car, so nice heavy and smooth piece of machine! :-) Very nice to see all the models in this "instructional way", which many people can't allow to have on their table, like me. :-D Very pleasant to watch it! Thanks again.

      No sir, it's the content. Your accent might be quirky at times, but it's all part of the entertaining aspect of your personality! 😊 Your videos are always a delight to watch, you choose great music, and your collection is phenomenal!!! 👍👍😲😲😲
      I could never make a video as good as yours. Even if I had the talent - I literally lost EVERYTHING last year..... All I have left is a CC-01 Landfreeder, and a Holiday Buggy. That's IT. My entire collection. 😕 I'd have no content for entertaining videos, like yours.
      I've tweaked my CC-01 as far as a guy can modify one. It's OK, but it will never be the Crawler that I really want. But it is something....
      And I have to tell you, my Rig has a great, smooth suspension - because of YOUR videos!! Thank you.

      Thank you! The Jimmy have a wheelbase of 225mm. The shortest CMX have 242mm, so you have to shorten the wheelbase on the chassis. You can do it with shorten the links, and drive shafts. Maybe you have to shorten the chassis frame too, to fit under the short body.

    Hallo Matthias

      I found the switch online...Graupner, unfortunately, it is too expensive for my taste. I am going to make my own switch from an old micro servo that the gears are stripped out. Still wondering what size wheels? Looks like a 2.2

      Yes, the tires must be glued on the wheels. With thin cyanoacrylate glue. You can see how I do it in this video at 6:20 ruclips.net/video/PTaTdfRrBnw/видео.html

      Das sollte über kürzere Links doch möglich sein,Wichtiger wäre wohl das die Räder nicht all zu weit über stehen.Kenne bis jetzt nur einen Starrachsumbau und der wurde nie komplett fertig gestellt (nicht lackiert).

      Thanks for your nice feedback! Yes, the wheels are a great factor to the look of the car, but in my opinion it's a combination of wheels, tires and body!

    Was the Warn winch fitted directly on stock bumper? any mod to fit the winch?

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  8 лет назад

      No, fits not directly. I used a small aluminum plate and used epoxy to fix it.

    Matteo, what interior did you find works best with the Land Cruiser?

    • @Matteomeier

      I use cheap self-made interiors. Here you can see something: facebook.com/matteosrcmovies/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1734742613476684

    Matteo, love your work man! I just pulled the trigger one one of these bad boys. My first crawler. Im excited! Question; what length are the stock shocks? And what length did you go with the upgrade? Id like to go a bit longer aftermarket. I dont mind making my own bracketry. Bit confused as to what to get though .... Im looking at g-made, but they have too many options! Im thinking either the diaphragm type (as that is what i am familiar with) or the piggyback style, because they are so cool and easily adjustable. Im going for a smooth, realistic looking ride rather than outright crawling capability. Thanks in advance, Keep up the good work! liked and subbed.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  7 лет назад

      Thanks so much! 👍🙏😊 The stock shocks are 70mm long. The diaphragm dampers are 85mm long. I like the piggyback shocks also! 👍

    • @drongojonkins8945
      @drongojonkins8945 7 лет назад

      Thanks for the reply! How do you find the 85mm diaphragm shocks compared to stock? Im also looking at the internal spring ones now too as they are able to be set up for "droop" or "sprung". I like the idea of having a droop setup. We're spoilt for choice, lol.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  7 лет назад

      The 85mm shocks are limit in lenght. And you have to use shorter springs as shown in the video. Because of the longer suspension travel the center of gravety sits higher, so more risk for rollovers. But it gives a realistic movement over the terrain.

    hi matteo, fantastic video, your mst rigs look fantastic and the new upgrades make them look even better. I really like the new wheels and tyres for the wrangler jeep. you should have fitted them for the end of the video. 😖. I can't wait for your next video, you should do more vids and make them a wee bit longer, cause I love em. 😀 👍 👍

    Hoi Matteo, kaum lässt man Dich eine Woche und schon bringst Du wieder ein tolles Video raus ;-D. Wie gewohnt wunderbar von Dir erklärt. Chapeau! Hab ich es übersehen, oder hast Du die Kugellager vergessen zu erwähnen? An die Rock Crepers an Deinem scaligen Wrangler werde ich mich noch ein wenig gewöhnen müssen - aber das liegt wohl bloss daran dass sich Harry, Merv und Walter nun unterlegen fühlen ;)
