Matteo, another great video! I am using the magnets for the first time, on my HG P402, with a Gmade Komodo Body. I didn't want the holes! I really like the MST shassis! I hope someday to be able to buy at least one... I want the CFX, because of all the room to install it the full interior!! 👍 This of course, costs more than the CMX. Gone as far as sanely possible on my cC01 chassis, both of them! The MST Chassis is just what I need. I really like the softness of the shocks from MST! Possibly for same reason you do. I like my springs to have a little compression - just sitting on the ground, not moving. Just like the full size ones! Thank you for doing these videos!! Carmine 🚂
Good stuff Matteo! I've had 6 RC cars on my shelf (some still in the box) for the last 6 months. Your vids inspire me to get back to working on them again.
Very detailed video with many nice tips for every car modeller! The magnetic holders I have never seen yet! Nice idea! Very nice wheels for Wrangler you have choosed! Fantastic instruction video you made! Congrats! Would be so nice to just show also your new and other models like HotShot or Blackfoot in similar way. To feel how the cars are hovering on their suspension on your table etc. I love for example your video with tuned Agrios, in time, where you are just placing the batteries in the model and whole monster truck is so nice hovering with the tuned quality Tamiya shocks! Fantastic moment which last a second, but I feel from that the mass and mechanical components of the car, so nice heavy and smooth piece of machine! :-) Very nice to see all the models in this "instructional way", which many people can't allow to have on their table, like me. :-D Very pleasant to watch it! Thanks again.
Excellent as usual!!! I REALLY want one of those CST Trucks! I've got plenty of CC-01 bodies for it... I just need a chassis. Somehow... Love your videos! They always make me smile.

Your accent might be quirky at times, but it's all part of the entertaining aspect of your personality! 😊 Your videos are always a delight to watch, you choose great music, and your collection is phenomenal!!! 👍👍😲😲😲 I could never make a video as good as yours. My entire collection. 😕 I'd have no content for entertaining videos, like yours. I've tweaked my CC-01 as far as a guy can modify one. It's OK, but it will never be the Crawler that I really want. Hello Matteo, how long are the front links in mm from eye to eye. How long are the rear links from eye to eye. Can you please help with this question next time you use the Jeep CMX? Thank you
Hey matteo . If i remember good you maded a vid with fj40 body for perfect fitment on a mst cmx . You explained it with a nice drawing and with mm next to it . Did you removed this vid cant find it anymore ?
Hi Matteo.
Good video, I have a question, I am waiting to receive my MST and I want to adapt it to the body of the suzuki jimny of Tamiya, what modifications do I have to make? Thank you!!
Thank you! The Jimmy have a wheelbase of 225mm. The shortest CMX have 242mm, so you have to shorten the wheelbase on the chassis. You can do it with shorten the links, and drive shafts. Maybe you have to shorten the chassis frame too, to fit under the short body.
Another great informative vid Matteo. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask, where do you get your bodies from? Are they all Tamiya? Because the detail on the molds is awesome...
Great video thank you. Came here from a recommendation by Matt from SBG. I want to build the CMX jeep. Can you tell me where the new wheels for your Jeep are from? I love them.
Wieder sehr informativ, vielen Dank!
Hatte eben zwei solcher Dämpfer Sets... deshalb!
I have 2 questions regarding the Toyota LC 40. The remote on/off switch for the lights attached to channel 4. What is the brand and model of the switch? Additionally, what size wheels are you using? Thanks for the awesome videos mate!
I found the switch online...Graupner, unfortunately, it is too expensive for my taste. I am going to make my own switch from an old micro servo that the gears are stripped out. Still wondering what size wheels? Looks like a 2.2
Hello Matteo, i bought my first adventure car CMX yesterday, I need help from you, did you glue the tire to the wheel? And what pinion T did you use? I can't figure it out the best setup for my CMX because i'm alot to nitro car. Thanks in advance Matteo
Yes, the tires must be glued on the wheels. With thin cyanoacrylate glue. You can see how I do it in this video at 6:20 ruclips.net/video/PTaTdfRrBnw/видео.html 20 tooth pinion is good
Matteo's RC Movies thanks Matteo for the answer and excellent link tutorial, oyea one more question, does all your CMX and tamiya kit does not use insert foam?

Matteo, love your work man! I just pulled the trigger one one of these bad boys. My first crawler. Im excited! Question; what length are the stock shocks? And what length did you go with the upgrade? Id like to go a bit longer aftermarket. I dont mind making my own bracketry. Bit confused as to what to get though .... Im looking at g-made, but they have too many options! Im thinking either the diaphragm type (as that is what i am familiar with) or the piggyback style, because they are so cool and easily adjustable. Im going for a smooth, realistic looking ride rather than outright crawling capability. Thanks in advance, Keep up the good work! liked and subbed.

The 85mm shocks are limit in lenght. And you have to use shorter springs as shown in the video. Because of the longer suspension travel the center of gravety sits higher, so more risk for rollovers. But it gives a realistic movement over the terrain.

how much power ore size motor can it handle without destroying the Diff gears?
I' dont know. But this kind of cars do not need so much power... it called crawler! 😊
Matteo, do you use the shocks without oil in them ? I just installed the Diaphragm 85mm shocks on my MST CMX Chassis and it is way too stiff...
Yes, I used oil. But you can choose the softest oil, and the damper pistons with more or bigger holes.
Hello Matteo, how long are the front links in mm from eye to eye. How long are the rear links from eye to eye. Can you please help with this question next time you use the Jeep CMX? Thank you
Front links are 9 mm rear links are 10 mm. But these are adjustable with spacers.
Great video! Thank you!
Can you tell me please what wheels did you used for the Toyota?
Thanks! Those are 1.9 beadlocks from RC4WD but they are no longer avialable:

Great upgrades!! and the film making is very cleverly.

Hallo Matthias

Tolles Video, vielen Dank!

Another good review video, thanks.
For reference: It's pronounced Daiafram, not Daiafragm. The G is silent.
Thanks again Shawn! Also for the help in pronouncing. It was a very difficult word for me, I thought its not good!
Another great informative vid Matteo. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask, where do you get your bodies from? Are they all Tamiya? Because the detail on the molds is awesome...
+A Tang Thanks! Yes the bodies are from Tamiya, and in my opinion the nicest bodies on the market.
Do the Tamiya bodies fit the Axial SCX10.2?
A Tang No, the Axial chassis is too big. Only the hi lift bodies can fit (F350, Hilux, or Tundra)
Did you build the wrangler/MST cmx to the 242mm wheel base or the 252mm wheel base? Thanks
Yes, 242mm base, but I extended it a bit to get it better on the body. (with spacers, explained in the video) Now, it have 245mm

20 tooth pinion is good

Your welcome! Not on all tires, depends on the tire and weight of the complete car. But on most stock CMX tires I do not use the foams.

Yeah you can tell the effort that you put into your videos, it shows. So come on and reel off another one. lol 😁 👍 👍
How long are the aluminum links? Will that work with the wrangler?
The Wrangler needs the short ones, 252mm
Matteo's RC Movies thanks!
great video keep up the good work
Thank you!
