To be fair, this HTC device isn't trying to compete with a Flagship high end phone like the S24 Ultra. Rather it's a premium mid range phone. Also half the price.
I highly agree with you plus HTC just started to make phones again. One thing I hope sticks? The SD card slot and the headphone jack. Don't get me wrong I always purge my phones periodically so I don't lose my stuff but it's so much nicer that the SD card is there so if and when the phone fails I have my music and pictures. I hope HTC makes more phones and they can put a good fight against the other competitors. Right now I'm rocking the Asus Rog phone 6 because I was doing Samsung for a while. The s21 ultra was the biggest POS and it soured me so bad that's why I went to Asus. If and when HTC does do this I will retire my ROG but until then I'm happy where I'm at for now.
They forgot that HTC has headphone jack, and memory card expandable storage. I just wish they would have also included a top loud speaker for the true stereo of the past, and a physical power button fingerprint sensor, and not the under screen one...
@@tyrant29bow2 I agree as well. I've owned 10 phones over the past 18 years and 6 of them have been HTC. The last one I owned was the U11 and similarly to you, I'm currently using the ROG Phone 3 as it was the only phone line that genuinely appealed to me since HTC fell off. I'm currently looking to get the ROG Phone 8 but I would absolutely love to comeback from HTC. To this day, I still say the best phone I've every used was the HTC One (M7), nothing was quite like that. I would also like to see a return of first party features like HTC Tasks, BlinkFeed, Dual front speakers & Ultra Pixel.
I think HTC is good mobile for its pricing. I have switched from Samsung note 20 ultra to Sony flagship and it's one best choices I did. For me Samsung and apple are overrated
For being a mid-ranger compared to the best that Samsung can possibly make, the HTC held up pretty good. You forgot to mention memory expansion and headphone jacks, both of which the HTC has and the Samsung does not. And lets not forget that Samsung has NEVER been able to match HTC audio quality.
Considering it’s more of a mid range phone, but manages to also punch above that mid range and almost match Samsung’s top end, this or future version of this phone is probably going to be my next phone
I bought a HTC U24 Pro a month ago and found it can not work with my SKY mobile network. NO Internet while I am away from home. It is SO unexpected & I am very disappointed. I didn't use the new phone immediately for couple of weeks because there was a funeral .. Now as it just passed a month despite talking to them last week they have not given me a refund
Htc phone is a best mid range phone,it's not too bad from samsung flagship phone.if u have lots of money u can buy Samsung flagship phone or if you want all features in a budget mid range phone than wisely choose Htc phone.

Samsung died for me when they removed micro sd slot and headphone jack
HTC far better in price range for these specs

The htc has a jack and sd card reader, nuf said
Well at double the price you are comparing a top of the line with a mid range phone, so to me the HTC won on everything.

rather pay half for somewhat lesser specs than double for premium...also the antutu seems rigged ...overclocking is mostly done when running it
Compared the wrong phones.
As someone who used apple,Samsung,Sony, flagship device I ended up loving google pixel
Which is HTC.
