I'm not gonna lie. At first I wish this had another name being that it took place in Atlanta and didn't have any of the Isaac Hayes soundtrack. As a spoiled New Yorker, I really took it there. Then I decided to watch it again with an open mind and it's really dope. Very well put together

I remember as a kid seeing the original at the movies, and seeing it again later as an adult. Trevor's portrayal of Ron''s character is fantastic. He definitely captured the essence of Superfly without the "blaxplotation" BS that came with the 70's. Trevor gave Superfly a current vibe and made him the badazz he was meant to be!
Facts, that's what I told my sons, that there's NO ONE more gangsta than the bank! They will get their money! To always pay their parking tickets, credit cards, and car loans. If you don't they can hurt you that will screw up your life for years!

This movie is amazing.
Yeah it was good enough to watch fully. Under budget and lacked in storyline but I'd say the actor's in this movie kept it alive. I gave it a C+ but close to a B- for effort and entertainment value.
