That sparking the gas scene is the most absurd fucking thing I've ever witnessed in ANY Sci-Fi film to date. Your face said it all. Absurd doesn't even describe how perplexed I was before bursting out into hysterics for the next 180 seconds.
So two things I understood from this: 1) Just watch Ex Machina it’s a much better movie about a robot wanting to be a real boy. Gets a little saucy, a little uncomfy, Oscar Isaac has a beautiful beard, what more could you ask for? 2) We’re adding Lord of the Rings to that watch list

My god, I remember my mom watching this when it came out on Netflix, it was like 2016-2017. This movie enraged me to such a degree that I had to stop watching AND I STARTED AT THE MIDWAY POINT. It's like the epitome of "people who don't know how tech works trying to write tech". I couldn't handle it.
Love how much the editing really does for this video on top of the commentary, so good! Goofy Sci Fi was my favorite back when I was younger! Especially on the SciFi channel! All the cheesey disaster movies, creature features, with C tier actors and D tier CGI was just something special back then. This seemed just a corny, it's great.

Since AI is usually capable of learning, I assumed that he's erasing things that TAU may have learned recently. Trying to purge whatever new things that might be interfering with the intended programming and causing malfunctions. Especially since towards the end, when he completely erased all of Julia from his memory, TAU suddenly worked the way he had before Julia. Just my interpretation. I still love watching you pick apart stories lol If you enjoy the sci-fi vibe of this movie then you would probably also enjoy MUTE (2018). Also, on Netflix. Paul Rudd and Sam Rockwell are in it, if that helps. Another movie that I would love to get your reaction/ thoughts on is The Void (2016). Well made and bizarre.
