Either way both road lead through some pretty desolate areas. Hwy20 is the more isolated. So much so that a serial killer successfully hunted there for decades.

@tsubakiofmelancholy6297 thought about it too but the missing lady is not from the area, and doesn't seem to have any close friends/family. And I don't think it's very common to hear about missing people on the news unless it's a big case, but hey, not from the US.

It is SO frustrating to watch a character get in trouble for being fucking stupid.
She could have called the police, or called a friend to let them know she is being followed and where she is, and still get captured, because it os not so easy to find someone on a road going to another state.
It is a lot more devastating to watch Drew Berrymore die in Scream, because the character is not brainless, and actually fights to survive.

I have to agree that most of these choices don't make sense, considering how terrified women are of traveling alone and interacting with strangers. It's why I feel most comfortable communicating in public with people I don't know very well. I've even had friends meet my dates with me or get all the info of where we are going. I am strong enough to protect myself, but there's no sense in getting involved with dangerous people unless you need to beat them down. Queer and women culture depends on community protection.
Hell, I try to extend that courtesy to others by not making folks feel obligated to communicate. When people feel trapped, they do silly shit. Again, there's no need for pressure when it only causes danger. Just saying. Information can do the leg work in healthy connection.

As a woman who has moved by myself, several times, with very little items, to pretty remote places... or has lived out of my tiny lil camper in national forests/BLM land where I often had 0 cell service... *also* going through periods of grief and being on odd terms with my family.... This one 100% got to me.
If I was the hunter I would have kept my distance considering the rifle, but for the most part I felt the reactions/choices were pretty realistic.

One cool thing about this movie is that it's somewhat based on a real life serial killer who used to kidnap women and hunt them for sport

I dont have the patience for movies like these. Her stopping at night to go 100 feet from her car to smoke was borderline hilarious. Plus the fact there were places to park right beside the bench but whatever. I guess he has all year to drive all over this area to chase her? In the phone call to his to wife i would have described him and said we were having an affair and described it in detail. He can say a crazy lady stole his phone and lied about the kidnapping but her saying he loves doggy style would have been a flag 😂. Im making up crazy crap just like this movie did.

I love you folks doing commentary! I watch the three you've done on GG Dubs channel over and over.
However, the game portion drags a little. It takes too long to explain/assign cards, and doesn't yield many points (at least out of your uploads so far) so there's not much to get excited over. One side winning wasn't very exciting either (maybe if there's a winner they should have a perk in the next video? Idk)
I do like the idea of having a game alongside the movie commentary as a way to differentiate from similar channels, so I think you two are onto something for sure!
Either way, you two are very funny together and I'm excited for more content ❤️
