I work for Uhaul, and something I like to do is use my access to look up trailers and trucks that appear in movie. Just to see what's up with them. That trailer came from a Montana dealership when they were filming, and they didn't do any noticeable damage to it during production, which was nice of them. It's still in service to this day, out on rental as of typing this comment.
A lot of movies actually "steal" MO's from real serial killers and tweak them a little. Which can either make them be completely incomprehensible or pretty realistic lol.

She left Portland via the St. John’s bridge. It looked like she was taking hwy 84 East, the gorge and river and all. But when it got dark it looks like Hwy20. Either way both road lead through some pretty desolate areas. Hwy20 is the more isolated. So much so that a serial killer successfully hunted there for decades.
Portland is the epicenter of population for Oregon, so I feel like many roads and highways leading out (especially around the mountains) are desolate or not taken care of. Hell, most of the roads in Gresham are fucked.
There's no way the dispatch would leave it alone after her freaking out like that and then going "never mind." If anything that'd be an even bigger red flag. I kind of wanted his wife to show up, and ended up being a psycho just like him. All "Well guess we're having Jessica for dinner tonight".
i like that she called the wife at the end, if she called her family or friends what is she gonna say? "hey this dudes trying to kill me, no i have very little information on him, yeah im in the woods" but if she called his wife she atleast destroys his life if she doesnt survive to do it herself

And I don't think it's very common to hear about missing people on the news unless it's a big case, but hey, not from the US. There's also still the possibility of being in denial. I mean, some serial killers held their victims in their own house, with the family inside. Trust in your loved ones is a powerful thing.
It is SO frustrating to watch a character get in trouble for being fucking stupid. She could have called the police, or called a friend to let them know she is being followed and where she is, and still get captured, because it os not so easy to find someone on a road going to another state. It is a lot more devastating to watch Drew Berrymore die in Scream, because the character is not brainless, and actually fights to survive.
People need to remember they can still drive w a flat tire. But the protag is useless so expecting her to have a working brain cell is wishful thinking

You need a relatively low key actor, eventhough this actor is somewhat recognizable because he was in Ozark and the Steven King adaption. but he you dont recognize him right away, which makes the character more mysterious as you don't know what to expect and aren't distracted by him.

I have to agree that most of these choices don't make sense, considering how terrified women are of traveling alone and interacting with strangers. It's why I feel most comfortable communicating in public with people I don't know very well. I've even had friends meet my dates with me or get all the info of where we are going. I am strong enough to protect myself, but there's no sense in getting involved with dangerous people unless you need to beat them down. Queer and women culture depends on community protection. Hell, I try to extend that courtesy to others by not making folks feel obligated to communicate. When people feel trapped, they do silly shit. Again, there's no need for pressure when it only causes danger. Just saying. Information can do the leg work in healthy connection.

As a woman who has moved by myself, several times, with very little items, to pretty remote places... or has lived out of my tiny lil camper in national forests/BLM land where I often had 0 cell service... *also* going through periods of grief and being on odd terms with my family.... This one 100% got to me. If I was the hunter I would have kept my distance considering the rifle, but for the most part I felt the reactions/choices were pretty realistic.

I love you folks doing commentary! I watch the three you've done on GG Dubs channel over and over. However, the game portion drags a little. It takes too long to explain/assign cards, and doesn't yield many points (at least out of your uploads so far) so there's not much to get excited over. One side winning wasn't very exciting either (maybe if there's a winner they should have a perk in the next video? Idk) I do like the idea of having a game alongside the movie commentary as a way to differentiate from similar channels, so I think you two are onto something for sure! Jeez the title is bang on. This is absolutely the kind of movie that I despise; where the protagonist(s) have to just be the dumbest motherfuckers possible in order to get caught over and over again.

I love you folks doing commentary! I watch the three you've done on GG Dubs channel over and over.
However, the game portion drags a little. It takes too long to explain/assign cards, and doesn't yield many points (at least out of your uploads so far) so there's not much to get excited over. One side winning wasn't very exciting either (maybe if there's a winner they should have a perk in the next video? Idk)
I do like the idea of having a game alongside the movie commentary as a way to differentiate from similar channels, so I think you two are onto something for sure!
