a week before the 8th of Dec 1941 my grandpa who was a captain of a cargo ship sailed out from Hong Kong and had since never return. My grandmother with my aunts and father were sent to mainland China together with a great number of HKers. My grandmother died during the hard journey and my aunts and father became war orphans
