These are the sorts of experience days that give them a bad name. That R8 is absolutely knackered too.
this is just sad.....3-4k rpms,speeds between 40 and 60mph...... thx for showing that this experience doesn't worth a penny.
Big big observation which I think people need to be aware of from an instructor's POV, when it comes to allowing you to push. Bear in mind, we've never met you in our lives. We spin the roulette wheel every time a customer gets in the car. Partly we keep speeds down if we've been told to by the venue, partly it's about managing the stress of the engine (if you wanted to redline it the companies would have to charge more, as profit margins are much smaller than you think!). I like to start off with lots of margin. If you are *smooth*, and you listen to instruction, I'll push you on to go faster because you give me the confidence to let you do that. remember, I'm putting my life in a stranger's hands, sometimes up to 40 times a day. How many of you would be happy to do that ;)

When I was driving an f430 and shifting the paddles and dude made me shift at the most awkward RPMs
Yea, as of to almost to prevent you from ever really opening it up! I felt the same. Especially with R8
so they don't let you drive it they just let you tickle it down a track, id drive my little 1.5 turbo faster than this, id of smoked this r8 on this track driving at those speeds.

Oh my God! I drive faster with my Audi A3...It's a nonsense these experiences.A lot of money on the rubbish
Yea.. you do get slightly screwed having to follow all of the directions of the rep. The excess on the insurance is ridiculous 😭😂
I’ve done this on another the track. And drove a V8 R8 manual and was told off for flooring it on the straight.... eh ok mate but did pay several hundred quid for this. Still enough to cement it as my dream car. 14 years later still want one!
absolutely pointless
