Hi mate just so you know if you pull of that square panel that has a wavy effect and 2 plastic screws in if you pop that out you can acsess the back of the light without taking of the whole weel liner out ..for the dipped beam anyway the main beam you can access from them opening the bonnet and taking the clip of the back ..
Replaced my passenger side (H8) Halo Halogen $20 in 5 mins in the Canadian Tire pkg lot. Nothing coulda been easier. Thanks. Wish I hadn't watched the other 'How to's ' first. I bought a H10W bulb from Amazon $11 wasted. Seems BMW were changing their headlamp units every 5 mins through the production of E9X not just LCI and pre-LCI. Live and Learn.
@@jaycedanzis9258 Example: my left tail light stopped working. Just replace the bulb? Not on a BMW. Had to replace the entire taillight assembly. Almost $500.
@@PointyTailofSatan same happened to my LED tail light and bought a non OEM assembly for about $100. I was worried they would not match but it looks exactly like the factory tail light.
BTW, my 335i is literally toast. Idle for almost 18 hours, and it decided to set itself on fire. A total loss. It's a known issue with almost all BMWs.
Thank you so much for making this video and also linking the parts below because for the life of me I was about to pay 1600 for the BMW place to replace my lights thank you
I am so thankful for your video. Many others are for the xDrive models and they don’t seem to have any mention of it. But this video was exactly what I needed

Are these the original bulbs the car comes with from factory? ( this will help me a lot ) never done mechanical work ever and I’m gonna attempt to try it.
The issue is am having is the sos malfunction and i dont get any audio if the engine is on. If i just place the key in without cranking the car or turn the engine off, i will have audio. But once i turn the car on my audio goes away!!!
Jesus christ, if it wasn't for my wife and her small hands I never would have gotten the new ones in. Lol. Got them out no problem, getting my hand inside to twist them back in no beuno.
This is way different to mine I have a 2009 bmw 328i and trying to fix the parking lamp because it says on my dash right parking lamp malfunction and the way your doing it is completely different to my car
How did you jump from "to remove the fender liner, turn the wheel all the way out" to in the next frame, the wheel is completely gone. Does the wheel need removing or not? You make no mention of it. It's just not there from then on.
Hi Steve. Sorry for the confusion...we removed the wheel for video purposes. We couldn't get an unobstructed shot of the repair with the wheel installed. You do not have to remove the wheel to complete this repair.
@@BMWRepairGuide thanks, I did wonder. As it happens you don't have to remove the entire fender liner either. There is an access hatch that gets you to the bulbs removable by loosening two slotted twist catches with a coin, at least there is on my E90 2011 model.
Sorry about that...our hosting company was having issues. As of this morning our site is back up and running. thank you for bringing that to our attention.
My bmw 335i 2008 show me check engine light, and show me the fault is P0113, P2091,P0238 i will go to smog check shop , guys told me you remove the check engine light then i check the smog test
I have a 2011 328i coupe, and everything see online says I have to access through the wheel well, but my car does not have anyway to access the headlights through the wheel well. I don’t understand what I need to do because the wheel well of my car looks completely soffetent

Only BMW could make changing a headlight a major project on an entry level car

I heard a rumor that on future 335I, you will have to remove the engine to change a lightbulb or change the oil. lol
My oil change is easy as hell on my e90 what do you mean

great guide; the cornering bulb you correctly state is an H3, but in your description and link it is incorrect listed as an H7

Thanks and subs
Wow! If you think his is involved, just wait until you try replacing a wiper blade. Be careful not to crack the windshield when you take it out.

Hello do you know the location for the angel eyes lightbulb on a 2013 bmw 328i coupe xenon headlight

Did you do a part for the turn signals on the LCi LED front please ?
Спасибо большое!Очень помогли мне
Thanks for the video. Anything different on the convertible version?
It may be different getting to the actual bulb itself, but besides that no.
hello! would you say it would be the same procedures for my e90 335i (2007)? thank you in advance!
Aren't engineers just so smart? You gotta take the car apart just to change a headlight bulb..
Hello
Do you have a part number on the female connector for the halogen cornering lights?
Could you replace the cornering light bulbs with an led conversion kit. I find they're not the brightest
i don’t see anybody doing this for a 323 2010 like i’m so confused on which light to buy
I'm an 323i 2011, it's look like it's not the same process, in the 2011 models the angel eyes rings they're different
I have a 2010 323 e90 and the removal and globes are the same as this tutorial video. My model BMW is facelift model LCI.👍
Thanks I have same car with msport package bulb at 81k miles looks like a pain I’ll just take to dealer
Jesus christ, if it wasn't for my wife and her small hands I never would have gotten the new ones in. Lol. Got them out no problem, getting my hand inside to twist them back in no beuno.
Sorry I'm new to this but the d1s low beam is the same bulb used for high beam?
Light bulb removal from the top without removing anything.
This is way different to mine I have a 2009 bmw 328i and trying to fix the parking lamp because it says on my dash right parking lamp malfunction and the way your doing it is completely different to my car
We will keep that in mind when making our next video :)
Same here man, I know this comment is old but I have the same issue, did you find out how to change it?
All this commotion just to change the damn bulb

@@BMWRepairGuide Thanks for that explanation. I've just done that job by only turning the wheel out. Not as tricky as I feared.

Why didn’t you just use the inspection hatch fitted to the inner liner?
That’s it’s purpose 🤷🏼♂️
Simply remove the headlight. It’s easy nd you don’t have to worry about tire
