      Allen J there has got to be a way to charge it. Why would they sell a battery that you can’t charge. Doesn’t make sense. I got a 2s 2000mAh Lipo Battery for mine. I’d go that route instead

      Allen J maybe you charge it by plugging in the qx7. Like how you charge your phone.

      @John-Bill Seymour Hi John, now 7 months later I assume you'll know the answer I'm looking for... I have the QX7 with the G-2000 Ni-MH AA2000Mah 7.2V battery pack, like the video, also with the FCX07 to charge it. But I don't know yet how to charge. Either leave the battery pack in the X7 and charge the battery via the port on the bottom right side of the radio?, or do I need to take the battery out every time and charge it outside the X7? ... not sure if the first option is possible or that I'm damaging the controller when trying... I'm new in the drone racing world :)

    PLS HELP I just purchased the FrSky 7.2V AA 2000mAh NiMH battery, and I've read it can be charged with the IMAX B6 Mini, but I can only plug the connector into the balance port, and it will not charge that way. Do I need to buy an adapter? If so, can someone link me one that will work?

    I have the LiFePo battery. It sucks. It drains quickly. I've only owned it for like 2 months but I literally charge it and within the first use radio complains that it's at 6.3v.

    Hi Andy... Great video. Thanks M8. Can you please tell us what would be the minimum voltage to take the green 7.2v FrSKY NiMh pack down to ? And how to setup the Taranis QX7 with the appropriate voltages and low voltage warnings ? Cheers :)

      Hi +Paul, thanks for the comment and feedback 👍🏼 I'll get a video done detailing all that soon. I've been without my laptop for a few weeks now due to a fault. Once I get it back (which should be within a week I hope) I'll get it done along with how to charge the pack. Thanks, Anthony.

    Use a 2s nano tek 1000 mah . Gives you 3 hours of battery and is very light and cheap. I carry a spare.

      +John Gallagher Hi John. I had seen this pack mentioned a few times on forums etc as an option. I personally thought for a transmitter battery, I wanted something I didn't have to worry about having to discharge to storage voltage etc. It's nice not having to worry about it if I leave it for a few days before it's used again.

      So you dont have to discharge the green wrapped batts the come with the qx7?

      Thanks for the comment. To charge the battery you need a JST to XT60 cable. I was expecting to have had the charing video out sooner but Ive had some issues with my laptop.

    3 minutes to explain how to connect the battery pack when the plastic teeth on the white plug will not allow wrong connection

    • @anthony_croft
      @anthony_croft  7 лет назад

      +amartolosgr Thanks for the comment and feedback. If you are careful and don't force the connector you'll be fine. If you force it though, you can get it to connect the wrong way around and potentially cause some damage to either the Tx or the battery pack.
