I love how uncluttered this yacht feels. Instead of shouting luxury with unobtanium-trimmed stonework and golden sinks, it whispers it with an abundance of open space.
A lovely looking yacht. I love the simplicity of the inside deck space. But the aft boat deck with the fire pit and seating area is also worthy of a special mention.
Ughh...i love the pull out wardrobe in the master. The stone work in the heads is top notch. I would have loved to seen cpt quarters. Sky lounge could be a little more inviting...
Regarding the engine room tour. Am I hearing correctly that these engines have been in service since 2002? That is nearly 20 years. Also, I did not hear any mention of a water-maker. Just a 1,400 gallon water storage tank. If all this is true, that is something that requires a lot of consideration regarding purchase. Most modern yachts of this size often have two water-makers and often a "zero spot" device. The rather dated looking interior is one thing, but this yacht is in serious need of some important upgrades. One must wonder, if the engines are that old, how old are all the other systems? Generators without noise shields? They must be pretty old as well. Your description states: 1986/2010. 2010 was a long time ago in luxury yacht terms. IMO- "She seems a bit pricey for a unique fixer-upper opportunity."
The last refit work was 2018. The engines where rebuilt in 2011. The captain in the vid mentions rewiring etc. These are not little engines from your dingy outboard.
Stunning yacht and really interesting to hear the captain talk about the instruments. I have seen in a few of your videos that in some of the cabins there are cut outs in the carpets for what looks like access. Can I ask what would be through these floor access panels please?
I just don’t think it has enough cold storage. Maybe a few more SubZero refrigerators? There aren’t enough. Just my thoughts. (I’m being sarcastic) awesome perfect yacht for anything asked if it.
Range please, I didn't get that. Work in on what was said in the film I got a little confused, you said she can traverse oceans yet the figures you gave were 70 gallons an hour at cruising speed of 12 knots and the fuel tank hold 7,000 gallons so thats 100 hours at 12 knots which is 1.5078 miles an hour multiplied by 12 and then by 100 which gives a theoretical maximum range of 1809.36 miles. That's what confused me because although I don't know the size of all oceans the ones I do know wouls be too big.
Glad they never 86ed this Yacht, she looks stunning and well suited for bringing friends. Thanks for the presentation, just need to get another 0 in my savings and income and I'll be on the phone in no time ;-)
I don't know...look, who am I to criticize a yacht that I would be more than happy to clean but there's something lacking in this refit. Maybe the fact that its a decade old already but it looks like the refit was more like a kitchen cabinet refacing than a tear out and rebuild. The galley looks cheaply redone (that dishwasher looked like it had seen better days), the sundeck sun-pads were dirty in some places and the jacuzzi looks like it was original to the 1986 build. Did they run out of cash before they furnished and decorated the sky lounge? There were paint chips on one of the side doors etc... I understand, new, this is a 30-50 million dollar yacht with its length and potential features so at 6.5 million, it's a steal for someone who wants to save 10 million and rip it down to the hull and rebuild it to gleaming new superyacht status but right now, she looks like an ageing but proud lady in need of a major intervention by a loving buyer with deep pockets and fine taste.
Never ever pay that kind of money for a Yacht that old, restored or not !! Simple fact this Yacht as been in the water all that time will have hidden issues very soon after buying it !
I do find what you said false. Also every time a person buys a yacht they do a sea trial before they sign the papers and the sea trial allows them to take the vessel out of the water and see if there are any issues with it. Thank you for the concerns though.
@@DenisonYachting Kevin knows what he is talking about. As they get older, the problems multiply. Kind of rude of you to try to sweep his concerns under the carpet. A little honesty can go a long way here.
Was full of promise then you said contemporary = DULL, Colourless, Boring and just plain unexciting. I would have to rip this apart end to end. Absolutely horrible!
@@_F_rog i would see a charter yacht captain to be a cool suave confident sales person, comfortable in talking to strangers (albeit with a tucked in shirt) 😀😀😀😀
I would like to have a fully competent Captain that was maybe a little less formal, and not afraid to get his hands dirty working with the crew when needed. His hair doesn't need to be perfect to be in charge of a tight ship with a happy crew.
Bull shit! 7000 gallons burning 70 gallons an hour, that’s a hundred hours. At 12 knots that 1200 , 1380 actually miles. From Newport News Virginia to Lisbon Portugal is 3580 miles. So I don’t see this boat crossing very many oceans. And you guys still talk like you Billy Mays
Gorgeous boat. I could live on it full-time, and never look back!
Agree. That would be the life.
Me too!!!!
Excitement in the narrator's voice is undetectable.
That's the most excited we've seen him...
First, impressed with the tour, the captains tour of bridge is vital from his perspective. The video detail is awesome. She’s a fine ship.
Thanks a lot, Dan!
Wow, there is alot more going on inside and outside of this boat than I would have imagined! Looks great!
We are so glad you liked it.
What a boat. Looks like a lovely place to spend a few weeks cruising the Bahamas or maybe the inside passage up to Alaska.
She would be great to take to any of those places. It would be an amazing trip.
Fantastic boat, I loved hearing from the captain!
We are so glad to hear that. It was very cool of the captain to do the video with us.
Another awesome Denison production!!
And Kurts voice and narration is great!!
Thank you. Kurt did a great job.

Yes, the interior is nicely done on this yacht.

She is lovely looking. We are glad you enjoyed her.
This is by far the most beautiful converted yacht I've seen.
Also, the tranquil presentation of this video compliments her zen style interior...
We are so glad you liked her. She is stunning.

@@DenisonYachting Nice save. Love the Denison Yacht tours. Incredible opulence aboard those vessels. Keep up the good work.
Brown and brown and white. The interior looks like a throwback to the 1970's.
Interesting you say that. She has a pretty new modern look to her.

It depends on the boat but sometimes it is storage or some technical aspects on the boat that you sometimes have to climb in there and work on.
I like this yacht but I think the interior refit could have been much better. In particular the sky lounge is very bad.
The state rooms needed a little more work. The bed spreads had JC Penny written all over them.
You can always change anything you want when you buy a yacht.

Old boats don't make the most of the bow area - but salesman is cute!
Kurt is great. Glad you enjoyed the video/him.
How do you replace the massive engines without tearing the boat apart
That is always a fun project when it comes down to it.

No different to having a cooker or bbq
We agree with Ben. No different than a bbq.
Great vid

The interior looks like Home and not so much of a Boat
She's a home away from home.
when was the yacht built?
In 1986.
70 gallons per hour... :) Guys, you have a leak or someone drinks fuel. Maybe liters? :)
$6.9 Million Pretty reasonable Price
Yes she is a really good deal.
They are giving this yacht away.
What is the range ???
Please contact KurtB@denisonyachting.com for the range on this vessel. Thank you for watching.
That light carpet probably won't last long.
You wont wear shoes in this boat that's for sure.
70 gallons per hour at a cruise 😂 is that cheap for a super yacht?
