Best tool I can use yet for me. This is great and how ingenious is this. I have some of the parts to make this some angle iron and a flat piece of steel. I saved this video so I'll watch it again and write down everything I need. This is a must have for me.
A little welding might have been faster, but I really like the clean look you got with using drill and tap. Being adjustable is pretty sweet also. Thanks for sharing

Was thinking the same thing, pretty over engineered for its limited use.
The table could have been done with a single section of angle iron: cut a too-wide length; mark, drill, tap as necessary; clamp a piece of scrap to those points at which the 90° bend will be needed and drill between the two to get the fold line; cut in from the ends, to the interior width of the supports, on (or just 'below') the angle; bend the two arms inward; install.
Larry Hutcherson Sr - You are right. Welding could have made the job much simpler. But if you don't have welding equipment, you have to necessarily follow the method shown to build the jig.
@@Bright8888 - You can make a welder by rewinding a couple of microwave transformers. I made a spot welder with one also.

I think without welding you can put the parts better in the exact place you want them. Ok, welding goes faster, but not everybody likes to weld / or have the equipment. All over: Great idea! Will take over and thanks for uploading.

Lidl welders are cheap as chips..£75 for a basic machine, get a good helmet gloves etc, and off you go.
