@@atharvagarad2490 The stabilization iphone wins on the 4k one since the note 10 at 4k was horrible but in terms of quality note 10+ goes really well as well the iphone pro. In images the note 10+ is more sharp as well some photos look natural also low light both are good. The iphone pro has more photos that look natural but in sharpness is not that good.

Jonny McDobbsy it really depends on the scene. when the speaker is behind the display then the note indeed sounds brilliant. however at 3:53 the iphone's sound is alot richer and more natural while the note has all sorts of small sound artifacts which makes him sound brassy
Thanks for this comparison. Personally I can't say the iPhone is better than The Galaxy Note or that the Galaxy Note is better than the iPhone. What I can say is that they are both great and take images with different aesthetics.
When the stabalisatuon mode was switched on it the note, it blew away the iPhone, it was like a stedicam. But I think it only works in some modes. I would have liked it if he had gone into to more depth with that.
For all those commenting "Natural" for whichever device, GURL PLEASE, the only time you would know the ACTUAL NATURAL color is if you were there with Saf. At this point of view from our smartphones, we would NOT know EXACTLY which device shows natural the way SAF's eyes see the actual colors from where he is recording.

Really great comparison review man! A lot of pros and cons there with both phones! One thing..........not sure with the 11, but the Note 10+ I know has HDR on "Auto" where I believe "Always Apply" would be better since that's what the Pixel phones do. So I wonder with the main camera at least how the Note shots would've fared if it was turned on all the time?
I didnt care much for how dull the 11 makes everything look, on the other hand, the stabilization is much better, though I'd never use it. iPhone still hanging on to an outdated look also. I'm going for the Note10+ this December

Think of what a device would come out if Samsung and apple actually kicked the feud into the trash and made one phone with each company doing what it's best at and in the end why no make it an option of what is you prefer to be installed when purchasing the device. Although the awesome idea comes to an end when you realise it would never happen because they individually would never be able to over come that device and would have a significant drop in sales with other devices that would come after

I'm a huge Android guy but I will say that the iPhone camera is a massive upgrade. Gives pixel a big run for best camera. Google better have something good on their pixel 4 this year.

No more tanned, the iPhone just captures more color saturation. Look at the bushes/sky. You see deeper greens/blues compared to the Note 10, but I'm sure you can adjust the color saturation to be higher on the Note 10 than what is displayed here

I'm not talking about all of Verge. I'm specifically talking about certain people like Nilay Patel. The dude can twist the narrative to specifically boost any apple product to its advantage e.g. home pod. Lastly, I actually think new 11 pro is a great phone. I just want to make sure people reviewing these devices do not have biases - i.e. supersaf.
it's not unbiased though. He made made side by side comparisons of the two cameras where they had identical features to show. He didn't mention nor tested the fact that the iPhone camera does 4k60fps on selfie, whereas the Note is capped at 4k30fps, and therefore didn't max out the iPhone quality on the selfie. This is giving Samsung an unfair edge, because he makes the iPhone go down to the (lower) level of Samsung cameras, when it can do much more than on show. If he had recorded the maxed out selfie videos, 60 fps vs 30 fps, it'd make the Note look like total trash.
Great review!. Thanks for posting!! TLDR - iPhone 11 Pro Max: Better video stabilization, color rendering on portraits, better night mode.. Note 10: Better overall sharpness on wide, and ultra wide angle, better edge detection, and zoom sound.
And one more thing in the portrait shots background as seemed little overexposed in note can be adjusted in S10 and note 10 ...under live focus u can just set the exposure down ...this can not be done in my note 9
Both are amazing and better in certain areas than the other, it really depends what phone you want with the camera. Note 10 edges it for me in terms of the better device overall. Samsung has come such a long way.
I totally agree. Note10+ is a better device overall. And, here in Brazil it costs 50% less compared to an iPhone with 50% less storage: we pay here about 8.000 reais on iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB vs 3.500 in a Note10+ with 256GB of storage. The iPhone price doesn't make up the difference.
@@superwario64 I think he can listen to what SAF said. It's mostly preference but the iphone isn't God compared to the note 10+. The front facing definitely has the iphone edging out due to more sensors, that notch is pretty handy for that. On the rear facing, I don't get your bias.
I think the Notes rear cam is better at pictures with sharpness and better dynamic range. Apples low light is better though. Ultra Wide cam is a win for the Note
iphn is good for taking human photos as it can handle the direct sunlight falling on skin..and give equal exposure.. but for other cases note10+ is better
And guess what? The developers will take another time to make their app compatible to Huawei? And learning the patterns about their new OS? Oh come on.. they made the developers even harder than making an app

I think mic on Samsung was better about 2 or 3 years ago compared to apple, but apple did improve their mic on iPhone X until now

No more tanned, the iPhone just captures more color saturation. Look at the bushes/sky. You see deeper greens/blues compared to the Note 10, but I'm sure you can adjust the color saturation to be higher on the Note 10 than what is displayed here

I just want to make sure people reviewing these devices do not have biases - i.e. supersaf.

it's not unbiased though. He made made side by side comparisons of the two cameras where they had identical features to show. He didn't mention nor tested the fact that the iPhone camera does 4k60fps on selfie, whereas the Note is capped at 4k30fps, and therefore didn't max out the iPhone quality on the selfie. This is giving Samsung an unfair edge, because he makes the iPhone go down to the (lower) level of Samsung cameras, when it can do much more than on show. If he had recorded the maxed out selfie videos, 60 fps vs 30 fps, it'd make the Note look like total trash.

Both are amazing and better in certain areas than the other, it really depends what phone you want with the camera. Note 10 edges it for me in terms of the better device overall. Samsung has come such a long way.

I totally agree. Note10+ is a better device overall. And, here in Brazil it costs 50% less compared to an iPhone with 50% less storage: we pay here about 8.000 reais on iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB vs 3.500 in a Note10+ with 256GB of storage. The iPhone price doesn't make up the difference.

@@superwario64 I think he can listen to what SAF said. It's mostly preference but the iphone isn't God compared to the note 10+. The front facing definitely has the iphone edging out due to more sensors, that notch is pretty handy for that. On the rear facing, I don't get your bias.
I think the Notes rear cam is better at pictures with sharpness and better dynamic range. Apples low light is better though. Ultra Wide cam is a win for the Note
iphn is good for taking human photos as it can handle the direct sunlight falling on skin..and give equal exposure..
