3:05 Tongue slip here, it was Doctor Mario 64 20:30 This placement was the norm on home computers of the era - so it made sense here. This out of the way, congrats on finishing the iceberg! And, I hope I helped overall :)
amazing coming from a guy born 1969.. I just look young , but i was around and fascinated with video games and pinball machines which a little Cliff Clavin from cheers fact. Was ILLEGAL until 1976
19:48 In fact, the video controller you mention and that actually appears in the video footage, the TMS9129 which is based on the TMS9918 family can display up to 15 colors, not just 8. The technical specification about the console's color output on Wikipedia is wrong, even the video resolution is wrong too. The correct video resolution is 256x192, not 280×216.
I just found out about the Zeebo recently. It's interesting that it had a 3G cell phone sim card so it had wireless internet anywhere. It was make this way due to the lack of availability in a lot of Brazil and Mexico, and there wasn't even a monthly fee for the internet. How were the games on it? Did you enjoy having one?
@@IcebergDocs I never owned a Zeebo, I just remember seeing the hype for this console on the internet back then. There’s no way to get a zeebo where I live back then.
You did a really great job doing this video about the history of video game consolea you wrapped up the icebeeg series pretty nice , honestly really cool ending

Maybe the Zeebo? It was on tier 9. It was made specifically for Mexico and Brazil. Seems pretty interesting with free 3G internet being included.
