Very imaginative and humane red panda exhibit at Chausuyama zoo in Nagano. I visited in October 2029, shortly before the terrible rain storm flooding of Nagano city. Hope that Chausuyama was not damaged. Planning to visit in 2024. Thank you Shinkoiwa for your red panda videos.
Hoping to revisit Chausuyama's red panda exhibit when the pandemic restrictions are lifted for foreign visitors to Japan! A great exhibit, esp. the open indoor rp exhibit as seen this great video. Love the natural wood and 4 individual play areas which can be easily reached via the overhead walkways. Imaginative and thoughtfully designed to provide a lot of space for the red pandas. Will return as soon as it is possible. Hoping they have a lot of visitors when the covid restrictions are over for now.
