    As a Namibian Civil Engineer, I have high hopes for the Oil discoveries of the past few years. I even plan on getting a Masters Degree in anything involving the Petroleum Feild to ensure I directly gain from being involved in the industry, economically.
    I just hope our government ensures we follow the path that countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE have taken, and not like that of countries like Nigeria.
    Either way, our GDP is set to get a major boost over the coming decade, which hopefully will result in the the improvement of the standards of living for the everyday citizens, including myself.
