    I think India lo a employee who is earning between 30-50 Lakhs range, can have expenses approx 70K - 1L only. Example a employee getting monthly 3 Lakhs take home, they can save 2 Lakhs per month. If wife and husband working, i think savings can be 2.5 Lakhs, which doesn't make sense then.

    You didn't mention about social contribution, care insurance, health insurance & unemployment contribution, which is way higher than tax also. Income tax is not the only thing in Germany. For those who comment about 30% tax in India, also consider that it is not flat tax in India. There are slabs. But in Germany there are no such slabs. In India the net income seems to be lower, but the pf contribution is your own benefit. There is no such thing in Germany. Your pension fund is separate on top of tax, social contribution, unemployment contribution, care insurance and health insurance.

    • @sravsy
      @sravsy Год назад

      brutto-netto site lo avi kuda chupistaru. you can decide after that. at the last its personal choice. for some its not salary, its lifestyle. in the example they mentioned, 33% is for everything not only tax. My husband pays 33% only, as we are in 3 and 5 tax classes

    Absolutely factual & practical. Great content & most discussed topic amongst NRI community. Now a days, living specially Europe from a financial perspective is not justifiable move. Quality life & comfort is only a reason. From long term perspective of kids, education system (not education pattern) is better off in India.
    A single person earning 2lac per month without any debts can lead equally comfortable life in India. Of course, social factors are not the same like in Europe but can be dealt with good network connections.
