I’ve been a fan since 1988. It’s not every band that has been around for forty years that:
    1. Retains 80% of its classic lineup.
    2. Still can produce killer new material.
    3. Plays with all of the intensity that they did in their youth.
    4. Keeps fighting on despite little or no support from radio stations, mainstream music press, MTV, or major labels.
Thank you, Anthrax, for forty great years.

@Funky Monk The band posts these videos and photos with professional quality on their pages. Idiots holding their phones up half the show are rude and it’s just ridiculous. Most don’t ever go back and watch the distorted sound videos they annoying take while real fans are trying to enjoy the performance. And the bands hate seeing it.

Still grateful for those times. I'm too old and broken for pits now but love watching from a comfy seat haha!

Saw them first time 7/24/87. Among the living tour, Testament ( formally Legacy ) opened. They played the METEOPLEX in Atlanta if anyone remembers that awesome place. I was front and center in the nastiest mosh pit ever. My neck was sore for a week after, got a black eye from the stage divers, crown surfers and people dropping from tbe upper balcony down to the pit. afterwards I was bruised from head to toe, and To this day 35 yrs later I still remember this as the greatest show I have been to. and I have been to hundreds of concerts. The fury of those days will never be recreated as we live in different times. Today the younger fans stand around with phones held up to take videos just so they can post on socia media and say " I was there ". But then again half of their fans are now 50-60 yrs old so... cant expect too much. One of the original big 4 and still one of the best 🤘🤘🤜👊🤛🤘🤘

He came into my work asked if I love music I kindly replied “fuck yes brother” he handed me the tickets and said this concert is for you. My life changed I was 16… up until that point I was a die hard Minor threat pennywise bad religion fan. Anthrax was my introduction to thrash metal.
